Mike James Transition Shots

Here you will see Mike James perform various shots in transition situations from his 2021-2022 season!
Things to consider when studying this film:
If he has a clear path, why? (e.g. running in transition, after a steal) How & why was he able to break away? What read did he make to steal the ball? What did he see that led to his anticipating a certain action?
If he is attacking up court with defense in front, how many defenders are in front?
What angle does he take?
What shot decision does he make?
If pulling up for a shot, what footwork does he take to either shoot or create space?
If he gets all the way to the rim, what does he do to create an advantage and put the defense off balance (look for dribble moves, body contact etc.)?
How does he prevent the ball from being stolen, deflected or blocked? (look at angles used off the backboard and ball protection moves)
