I’m on board with your optics thinking. I think people go to over board with optic power. I’ve hunted for years with a fixed 4 power scope and haven’t had any problems hitting my target. Plus with a lower power optic u get a bigger field of view which gets you on target faster. Good video as always
Thank you! You have to be realistic. I'm not a sniper. I'm not taking 1000 yard shots. This optic fits the bill perfectly and is wallet friendly. You said it perfectly. My biggest concern is quick target acquisition and keeping my head up to identify any additional threats. Besides, it's a semi-auto AR. Its a DMR at best. If I need 1000 yard accuracy, I have the Waypoint for that.

Very nice setup however I wanted to go a different route I had help building my 308 aero precision upper and lower also handguard PRS Gen 3 stock geissele 2 stage trigger spikes tactical bcg and also spikes tactical 20" heavy barrel it holds a vortex 6x18 ao scope my DMR is done in FDE and black.
Sounds like a hot build! I'm pretty happy with how mine turned out. It's extremely accurate for an AR. I might upgrade the bcg to something a bit lighter and possibly a ACOG or the Vortex you mentioned to get some distance out of it. Thanks for the comment and thank you for your support.
