GGLS May 2017

Another video of my Kozo A3 running at GGLS. 1.5" scale, 7.5" gauge. This was the first test run of a bobber caboose that I've just finished. Needs detail and equalization but it ran well without springs for now. The A3 continues to run well after almost 4 years in service. I was having issues with blow by in the cylinders that eventually got so bad I could barely get out of my own way. I've replaced the original iron piston rings I made with glass filled teflon and that made a huge difference. Completely different engine now. Injector continues to act up. The mineral content of the water is the majority of the reason. I've begun to blow it out at the end of the run with air as well as cleaning it before each run. Hand and axle pump continue to work. Brakes work well as long as the battery is charged :) See my other videos for detailed info on the engine itself.
