I love Bucees! They have great Christmas ornaments
I can’t wait to visit during the holidays!
Oh man Buc-ees is the absolute BEST! Yes, their restrooms are top notch…meticulously clean & safe! The whole store is so clean & their employees are #1!
Every store we’ve ever been to is exactly the same, whether it’s small or a mega store.
We always stop on the way to & from visiting my in-laws. We stop to use the restrooms & always shop for everything. We get their t-shirts, buy gifts for my mom & mother-in-law, buy the cutest stuff for my daughter & nieces & I’ve bought really cute things for the house/kitchen & decor. Everything is SO cute & very well-made, but can be on the pricey side, but you know it’s very high quality.
We always get the homemade fudge variety pack, their homemade beef jerky, their pulled pork sandwich, SO Delish!
And on the way home we load up w/stuff you can ONLY find in a mega Buc-ees store!

Thank you for telling us about the grand opening. I drove to the Richmond location today. I bought the praline pecans, mammoth pecan halves, dark chocolate covered almonds, a sliced beef brisket sandwich , a dark chocolate truffle and a dark chocolate caramel topped with sea salt. I don’t listen to the news. I was unaware that they were opening a store in Richmond. It was an hour and half drive each way for me but well worth it. Roundabouts are so difficult for me to figure out. Lol. 😂😂😂

@@happyinharned9583 Not really. They're comparable to most interstate stores. The gas was cheaper than anywhere in the area though.
When we traveled this past summer we stopped at 6 Buc-ees. I spent thousands there. Gassing our RV and buying stuff.
They have so many awesome things!
I love Buc cees it is my favorite place to stop now. The brisket is to die for and the peach muffins are the best ever. I spend way too much money there but have never been disappointed.

Everything was such high quality. It was impressive.
That would be awesome! The one they just opened is 3.5 hours away. Not bad but I would like one closer. I loved the pulled pork sandwich I had there but I want to be able to try the brisket.

I'm from Talladega, Al,my sister took me to Buc"EE's. I have never hear of it before, then we got some food, l have never ate Brisket before until I ate Buc"EE"s. Please bring a Buc"EE"s to Talladega we have so many empty building . We only have two groceries stores, and again I won"t have to go all the way back to Leeds, Al to get me another Brisket sandwich. I hope you c this comment

Ive always wanted to go to bucees. We did pass by a couple going home Florida but never stopped. Next time

They are opening one next month in Florence South Carolina and then one in June in Crossville Tennessee. Three are planned for TN included two of the new 74,000 square foot design for Sevierville and Murfreesboro. We are all chomping at the bit, in Crossville.

Omg! I love that buckys mascot! He's so cute! That's one of the things I love about America, the mascots you guys have for nearly everything, I can't think of anything like that in the UK that's stuck around. Maybe the tayto man? Or Berty basset.

The other 2 are supposed to be built in the Bowling Green area and in the Hopkinsville area. Just saw that yesterday actually. I'm gonna have to go check it out, I live around Lexington so it's not far.

Their brand of potatoe chips are hands down the best i,ve ever had. Love their fudge. I collect cookbooks,and they had all kinds from Ga cookbooks tonother states. Good place to get something special for a gift.

My brain says, "get one of everything that's not cold or that you have to make a recipe with." I try to choose things that are already made and avoid mixes or things that involve additional ingredients.
If Walmart was a gas station this would be it..I can't imagine buying gas on pump number 120..😄😃🤔😲 This would be a real one stop road trip. Shopping carts at a gas station..

So excited for this bucees!! My husband is military and retiring next year and we are planning to move to Kentucky, so I can’t wait to have easy access to bucee’s 😂 also, I’m sure you read, but gatlinburg area in Tennessee is also getting a huge bucees and there’s one close-ish (about an hour away) opening soon in Florence, sc!
That’s great! I’m always curious- you can choose to move anywhere- why Kentucky?
@@TamiDunn sort of a long story- but basically, his family is from Indiana and mine is from Virginia so Kentucky feels like a good happy medium for us. Not to mention, Kentucky doesn’t tax military retirement AND our kids will have free in state college tuition once they’re old enough. Also, my husband is a big outdoorsman and is convinced Kentucky is the place to be for big deer 😂😂 hope all that makes sense!

I went to my first bucees in Alabama about a month ago! It was a year long dream of mine, and it did not disappoint in the slightest. I’m not sure what heaven will be like for people who love food and shopping, but I’m pretty sure bucees Is the closest we’ll get this side of it!

I live in Richmond and tried going in a few days ago, at 11:30 pm, and it had almost twice as many people - walked in and immediately turned around. I think I'll try again in about 6 months!

I would have liked to see some of the prices of the items you showed. Just curious how their pricing compares to other places.
One is going into Smith's Grove (just north of Bowling Green), the other between Hopkinsville and Clarksville TN

I read somewhere that ‘roundabouts’ are making a comeback in the states, we have one notorious roundabout here in Texas, called the ‘Waco Circle’ and if you are not ready for it, it will get ya.
It's not something we have ever been taught. They just install them and then say, "Here ya go! Good luck!" Ha! Ha!

I filmed Gavin and Amelia for a long while before their mom made it known she did not want them on RUclips. To respect her wishes, I try to not even mention them much. So, when the third child came along, it was easier not to say anything.

Donut shops make the best ones.

Tami and Kevin, I highly recommend you check out Casey's and go there to check out their products to get for review including a Casey's haul. If there's a Casey's in your area. I hope there'll be a buc-ees coming to Missouri and Arkansas real soon.

Oh wow! When we visit Jungle Jim's International Market in Ohio, it's 112 miles away. When we go, we know it's going to be a whole day.
I was just at one 2 weeks ago between Georgia and Florida on vacation their so much to see in them . The only I would say is you have a child with Autisum, I had a neice with us it's not a great place for them . Becuse with all the people and being so loud . It can trigger issues. But it was a great place to see ,eat ,shop and visit . I heard in 2024 near Fort Campbell is getting one !!!

Wow Bucees is really expanding now. I use to live in Texas and we had them all over, I moved to Alabama a few years ago and they had just opened the first Bucees outside of Texas. It’s located near the Alabama coast.
Now apparently they are moving everywhere, I heard Missouri is in the works too.
And HEB in my opinion is the best grocery store I’ve ever shopped at, Publix is a joke compared to HEB. HEB has Walmart prices and Publix quality food,more regional food also. Lots of Texas flavors and favorites. I wish we had one here in Bama, I’d never step foot in Publix or Walmart ever again
HEB has so many snacks & ice creams I would love to try. They always have great deals running too where if you buy something, you get something else free. I love that!
Basically this place caters to travelers, they sell snacks, food, beverages etc..There's no sitting or dining space. You purchase items then keep it moving out the door..🤔 I want to get out of the car for awhile to sit and eat , move around in a designated area. .
When I bought sandwiches, I ate them in the car.
Those darn roundabouts ... you have to just keep moving or you'll have problems. My friend nearly crashes every time she drives in them. I wish we had a bucees nearby but they'll never come to NY state.
That's what I said to Kevin - just go slow, but keep moving. Ha! Ha!
A friend loves HEB. I remember seeing Publix is coming to Louisville. I would think they will come to Lexington eventually too.

They do not. The store is too packed with both people and items and there wouldn't be room to get through many spaces.

If they did, I doubt they would be in business this long (since ‘82’). Go to a Buc-ees one day and observe the volume of foot traffic.
They were flying off the shelf while we were there. I have heard they stay pretty busy.
It is not unusual for there to be 500 people in the store at the time, most of them purchasing food.

LOVED THIS VIDEO! We often take road trips to Buccees, as THE destination, here in Texas. It's so fun. I love the cake balls, the tie-dye shirts, and the clean bathrooms when you need them! Your Buccees is closer than mine- it's about 45 minutes away for me. So glad you finally get a taste of Texas!
It's such a nice store! Normally when you think of gifts from gas stations, this is NOT what you think of. These are HIGH quality items - like department store quality. We had a lot of fun! Thank you for watching the video :)

They just opened two Bucees here in GA, sadly they are both about two and half hours from us, but we stop when traveling. I absolutely love their Turkey bbq sandwich! It’s the Best!! 😋 Can’t wait to see all the yummy stuff you got on your visit!! Thanks for taking us along!! 🥰 Oh, and I couldn’t help but chuckle when y’all were going threw the round abouts!! They are putting them everywhere here, and our 16 yr old son had his first accident, in a round about!! 🤦🏻♀️ Because nobody knows how to use them!! 🤪

Love that y'all have a Buc-ee's now, how exciting! I live in Dallas and I've never been. I was wondering if they were only in Texas. I think the closest one to me is about an hour away. Looking forward to reviews on all the snacks y'all get.
