Thanks so much with this video, I'm hoping to apply for social work! I'm hoping to use my hnc to cover a few modules which i think you can do. I'm so excited too!! 😁😁
Hi, I love your enthusiasm for studying... I want to study Law at OU but am from Scotland. 1) Where will I write the exams at ? 2) Will I have to come for lectures at OU in England ? Thanks...
Hey! Thank you so much 😌 You should definitely look into the descriptions of the modules you are considering on the OU website as courses vary in the way they are organised!
Hello, I am studying business administration at the Arab Open University, and I will get a double degree from the Open University in Britain. I want to know if graduates can work in Britain like any university, or because it is an open university, it is difficult to find jobs?
I'm Heather, Glasgow I've enrolled took advantage of SAAS PT fee waiver as I'm not working on PIP and gona apply for DSA grant cover for materials. I'm doing cert Higher education in law and languages French..
I'm applying for my funding now and this has helped massively - Thank you! When you filled out the registration agreement, under paying your module fee, what did you put? I have filled out the SASS forms to send with the agreement but don't have a 11 digit CRN or any other code to prove that i've applied for SASS funding. Do i just leave it blank? Thanks!
If this is your first time applying you won’t have one, but after applying you will get a CRN. So I would leave it blank, but if there is any problems they’ll contact you so don’t stress! :)
Hey , i have applied to do forensic psychology and i picked my first module (60 credits) there was another module within stage 1 and was just wondering is that what i would be doing in my second year or do they change it up? The way i understood it to be is 2 modules per stage so 6 in total, so my stage 1 will take 2 years then move to stage 3 and so on. I am just getting so confused when picking modules for part-time study. Can you explain how it works? I only plan on doing 60 credits per year. Thank you x
@@tinafraser2086 hi I’m so sorry for only seeing your comment now! But you are absolutely spot-on! You’ll do 60 credits every year over 6 years, that is part-time study 😊
hello! I'm gonna start studying with the OU this October and I have some questions concerning my application. is there any way I can contact you privately? thank you so much
Hello! I just sent you a follow request on IG. I'm applying for OU this year and I'm confused about which form I should send (PN1 or PTL1). Sorry, I'm in England, so not sure if it's the same ones you have, but if you could help, I would be forever thankful!
Did you have the option to do this online also? I applied for SAAS online via the OU website after I registered- and I'm wondering if this was a mistake as I have not been asked for any income evidence yet
Saas does usually take around 2 weeks to get in touch with you, but if it has been a couple of weeks since you registered, I would maybe email or give them a call to ask! It’ll be peace of mind for you too
@@hannahlorna ahhh ok, thank you so much for your speedy reply! I'll give them a call 😊 Ps, finding your OU vids super inspiring as I'm nervously taking steps towards my very first degree!
There are different prices for different circumstances, so i would suggest you look at the Open University website, and you’ll also be able to find information on there about sponsorships! 😊
Been thinking of using the Open University for years, this is perfect to see. Thank you
I decided to get the engineering route, I have yet to be contacted by the Uni for payment. You are so lucky to have the SAS to help you pay for it!
this was very helpful thank you lovely ! x
