My kids are 10 and 8 yrs old. When their mother insisted on sending them to a Catholic school I was uncertain due to the stigma surrounding the Catholic Church. Now I am so grateful to her for her insistence. My son has absolutely no idea about any of these things, my daughter is still a bit young and autistic so probably wouldn't understand. If she was in a mainstream school though, they would be saying she isn't autistic, she's trans. When they are older and if they come and tell me they're gay/lesbian, trans it won't change how much I love them. All I ask is they are left alone until they are old enough to find out for themselves.
