Awesome truck! Chrome side molding is about 4 inches too high though.
That chrome does look odd…looks like a wide after market add on..nice truck overall though
I’m pretty sure they did it to make the truck look lower…. Duh.
That is stock Chevy glue on molding from 1981
@@jasonfarnsworth5880 It is for sure stock molding, but it's supposed to be about even in height with the side marker on the front fender.

We have a 87 an 82 they are both on 24s
A cab and chassis axle will tuck semi wheels just haft to cut inside of wheel tubs but beware a cab and chassis isd 4 inches longer than a reg bed so axle has to be moved forward

I got three of them one with a 12 valve Cummins one 6.0 twin turbo and one with a 502 the 6.0 ls the quickest I eat the coal rollers up on a daily basis lol
