As of right now, I’ve only got 76 full bodies and 120 silos. So it’s still a small spread. I start with 18-25 from just after thanksgiving to about mid December. Then depending on what the birds are doing, usually by Christmas I’m running all 76 of my full bodies. I hunt snows over water out here in California so I line the banks of the ponds with full bodies. And if there’s an island, I’ll put full bodies on there as well.
@@publiclandwaterfowler Hey if it works it works. I'm just starting to build up my snow goose spread. So far I have around 60 shells and half a dozen full bodies. But, I think I might order some SX snows later this year. Thanks for the reply, I'm always curious to see what other people run for decoys.
@@thatmidwestguy7164 I like the SX because I can pay $220 for a 10 pack which is a really good price. They’re a one piece decoy, removable heads suck. They’re durable and the carve looks really good.
@@publiclandwaterfowler $220 for 10 full-bodies is a great price if you really think about it. Buying a dozen ghg full-body snows is going to set you pack probably close to $280. Bought some sx full body mallards and I love them, so I will definitely be buying from them in the future. I also definitely agree on the removable heads. I run ghg canada goose decoys and I have had heads fall off in my trailer before. It is definitely a pain, especially on mornings where you want to set up quickly. So, I will definitely be buying from sx again in the future. Probably going to pick up some snows later in the season, or in the spring.

How many full-bodies do you usually run for snow geese?
