I just ordered this bike from Amazon for $529. I came here for your review AFTER the fact. I am encouraged by this video that I made a good choice for what I need, I have many steep hills where I live.
@@andresaguilar3666been commuting one week hills are easy and after switching the seat it's a comfy and predictable ride , just takes some getting us to if it's your first time on an Ebike
Did your come with the spacers for the handlebar height adjustments ? My handlebars are all the way down to the frame and am not sure how to raise them higher up ...
My son just got this to ride to work. I took it for a test drive after assembling and I gotta say it's not bad at all for the price. The seat will have to be replaced, you're right, it's way too firm and uncomfortable. Tomorrow we are replacing the tires and tubes. The tires are tissue thin and not great grab and the tubes are not much better so those are getting upgraded. The rear tube blew out on the second ride, examining the area of the puncture showed a very rough edge where the rim was joined and it sliced the tube. I'll be taping over both joins before replacing the tubes. Still, other than those faults, I can find little else to complain about. Overall, it seems to be a great value for the money and a good starter ebike.
Did you have any trouble charging the battery when you first got it? I’m not sure if I’m simply not charging it correctly but I’ve been trying for over a day and my battery just won’t charge
@@mrjtfang2 Not "Use", PROVIDE. It can deliver up to 750W of power at the initial start of the motor, just to get things rolling, but then it decreases to approx. 500W of power which is enough to keep you moving at around 20MPH.
Great review! I actually have mine coming in very soon so Im excited to see how it holds up. If you have any other Bikes/ scooters to recommend it'll be nice to see another review.

Ditto; just got mine yesterday.
On average how long does the battery last you on full throttle?

Awesome, detailed review! Just ordered 2 on Amazon and looking forward to riding! 🙂
Did your battery show a red light when charging it the first time out of the box, as the manual states?
How do you cycle down in assist mode (say level 3 down to level 2). I can only cycle up.

What size are the tubes and tires?

What softer seat would you recommend for order that fits?
Basically any comfy touring bike seat, as this seems to use popular bicycle mount mechanics

No issues. Battery charges fine for me. You may want to contact support if your problem continues.
Thank you for this video!
Seems like a good option
Thank you!!!!!
What does 750 w peak mean?
Its how much power the motor can use basically.

hey thanks for the review
My evelo motor & crank crapped out. It'll be cheaper to replace than repair , so I've been watching reviews before I get a new bike. Thanks
Does it go 40mph
No. I got to about 20mph. I weigh 240
thanks!!
