Dexcore has to be one of the best all around bands. Kagami is one of the best vocalists hands down, from his high, to lows, to his cleans dude is just all around talented. Check out their song “who’s fault” definitely not their heaviest but the lyrics is what captivated me.
DEXCORE has become my favorite band in the past year(when I stumbled upon their music). KAGAMI (the lead singer), is the one who sings from front to back on every track. He has an amazing range and yes those highs are all him (with layering vocals of him as well). Definitely check out more from them. They have songs that are waaaay heavier than this one (like EARTHWORM and RED EYE) but they have other songs that incorporate more singing (like “20” and “Brainwashing”). I’m glad you checked out Self-Hatred first because it displays every aspect of the band. Highly underrated band. They are also the kings of breakdowns lol Hope to see more reactions. 🤘🏻
Self-Hatred is probably their most straight forward track...An absolute banger with a great message but stuff like Brain Washing and Earthworm will throw you so hard on your first listen of this band. Kagami is a great frontman and the current band lineup will body most the bands on the scene while leaving everyone confused with the Visual Kei aspect.
@@BreakdownMediaYT Yes, Dexcore are small-time. They are only one of two artists on Jelly Records. If it wasn't for YT they would be the equivalent of a local band from Nagoya, Japan. But thank God for YT. Dexcore have been my favorite band since stumbling upon them in 2020. Kagami is one of the most talented vocalists I've ever heard. His range is extraordinary! A great example of this is definitely "Red eye". I count five different screams, plus his amazing singing, just in that one song. Also of note since you mentioned the bass in "Self-Hatred", they got a new bassist, Kai, before releasing "Red eye". Also, I agree 100% that Dexcore are the "kings of breakdowns". If you love breakdowns; "NEW ERA", "Red eye", and "EARTHWORM" should not be missed.

Glad you've finally got round to them with someone else's push, been ages since first even recommended them. Conal, it's one vocalist and he (Kagami) is up there with pinnacle tier vocalist and when it comes to genre they're often listed as Visual Kei Metalcore/Deathcore but really they span so many subgenres across the spectrum. If you check out some of their other stuff you'll see what I mean.
Amazing band. I've liked if not outright loved every song I've heard from them. Deathcore can easily feel a bit stale, but they know how to bring some freshness and variety. And the singer has great range. Also it would be great to see Lovebites on your channel again. Would love to see you react to Poets of the Fall - Carnival of Rust (their most well known song and the music video got voted as the best Finnish music video ever back in 2006 when the song was released). Truly an underrated band from here in Finland. Also a band with many different sounds all the way from slow melodic songs to full on rock. Although if you want to immediately hear a song that showcases how crazy good the lead singer Marko Saaresto's voice can be (and while his vocal range might not be the most dynamic out there he is an amazing example of what you can achieve by having absolutely perfect control of your vocals especially the raw emotion that his voice is able to convey) then i recommend listening to their song Daze. His vocals on the chorus are something out of this world. I just think that so many more people would love their music if they just ever heard them but since their from Finland it rarely happens. Although many have heard their songs in Remedy's video games Max Payne 2, Alan Wake, Quantum Brake and Control (Also every single reactor i have seen reacting to them has been pretty much blown away by their music so i'm very confident you'll like it) also... also... lot's of deep and meaningful lyrics and wordplay in their songs sorry for the long rant i just really want more people to know about them :)

If I can I want to recommend you another amazing Visual Kei band, my favourite band ever, The Gazette. Please react to their song "Undying", it have official music video, but this one is often blocked, so lyric video would be better. Or song "Blinding Hope", also have music video. These two songs are heavier, but Visual Kei bands love experiments with sound and genres, and they exist 20 years now, so in their discography you can find many differest songs, different genres and sounds, all amazing. ;)
