As a beginning knitter, working on my first cardigan, I've ripped all the way back to the beginning about six times because I didn't know what else to do. This video is wonderful and informative and I almost can't wait until my next mistake so I can use the techniques! Thank you :-)

Great tutorial. My needle came off my work for about 4 stitches. Didn't know how to recover and ripped the whole thing out. Next time I won't panic and try to fix instead of start over. TY

Thanks so much for your tutorials. I'm a novice knitter working on my second hat knitted in the round. You have just reduce my anxiety about mistakes by about 90%. Great videos and explanations!

Thank you for saving my baby blanket. I have no idea how many times I started it from the beginning and it is 175 stitches wide. I tend to add extra stitches so thanks to your video I could go back and drop the extra stitch with out starting my work from the beginning.

Great video. I'm a beginner and the first part of this video was so helpful I know I will refer to it often. Not sure I want to frog or ladder up a dropped stitch. I try to never make mistakes which I know is not the way to "learn" but I knit with fear (unlike crochet which is so mistake proof IMO). Thanks for this and you have a lovely voice.

This makes knitting mistakes feel a lot less scary. I’m starting to realize the key is really understanding what is happening and how the loops come through each other. Once you understand what’s going on, fixing mistakes is a lot more instinctual.

Wow, I love this. Cause I've recently starting back knitting and I would unravel the whole thing when I made a mistake. But now I have tendinitis in my shoulders and elbow, but i may have come from me crocheting 2 big blankets. Thank you so much for these videos.

I wished someone would make a similar video for people who use a circular loom for making hats, I hate having to start over because a mistake was made several rows down, it happen to me more than once.

This was very helpful and informative. I think I'll be referring to it often, at least until I get comfortable with the methods.

Learning how to fix mistakes is the best skill you can learn when starting to knit. Too many beginners panic and get frustrated and drop knitting because they lose confidence. The second best skill is how to read a pattern.

I am knitting an infinity scarf on circular needles. I have a stitch marker but I had to put my knitting down a few days ago and just got back to it, I knitted for a few minutes and then noticed that somehow my stitch marker had come off . I have no idea where I am now or how to fix it. Can anyone help?

I'm now making a knit cap for my older daughter.I'm too chicken to take off 3 rows as have 2 holes and one is k and p so I'd mess it up more if I pulled it out to start over on that row.My class is on Tues so hope the teacher will show me how to fix it myself.

that is why the lifeline is made for knitting when you are "frogging" your yarn. literally😱 sewing a contrasting tread in a project and "frogging" to that stage.😧
