Oh man. For real, dude: This was SO helpful! Here I’m all stressin’ how to get my (84 year old) mama to cut the Direct TV cord. So I bought her the TiVo Stream to do that job because it seemed a bit easier than our Roku and ESPECIALLY easier for her than AppleTV. (Which kinda assumes you know your way around tech.) This will have her up and running quick. Thanks so much. 👍🏾

This is a nice device for cord cutters
When I plug it into my tv it keeps my tv awake. If I turn my tv off it turns it back on.

My experience with this new device is ok, but if you side load apk's, most of them will be in settings but will not show up in your app folder. For example tvtap, movie box 2, CM lite and so many others just won't work on this device. TiVo is for apps you subscribe to.
Its actually a nexus player made by ASUS. Everything on the inside is branded ASUS.

I am stuck on the bus it link to activate. I dont have a subscription. Dont know what yo do and cant get off this screen. Restarted several times and still comes back to this page. Help someone please?

I have signed out of it and it still shows signed into my email on startup and freezes up at the activation.
