to remove Sunak they need to get a majority from all parties voting no confidence in him, then they would have to get the Kings approval to form a new Govt with a new PM since Sunak has already got permission from the King for Dissolution of Parliament

To be honest there would be nothing funnier than 4 Conservative Prime Ministers in one parliament! The idea that replacing Sunak and calling off the currently scheduled general election, with less than 6 months to go before they have to call a general election, would improve their electoral prospects is insane. At present a large proportion of the electorate despises the Conservatives. If they did that they would be reduced to a laughing stock.

So, if the sitting government is half decent, they usually stay in power... But it is usually the case, that the sitting government stays in power, because the opposition is SO very very poor and dreadful...This is the problem of a democracy with a Duopoly of just 2 main parties...

The media bear huge responsibility for our current crop if politicians. There is no journalistic, in depth scrutiny of their reaction to internal or external events and consequent enaction, or not, of policy or, the events themselves.
Things got out of hand with the Brexit and Trump victories. With the pandemic reset sham democracy was installed. The real thing got a DNR note attached to it. The family were not informed.
It appears my response has been airbrushed. Suffice it to say, democracy has been tagged with a DNR memo since certain unfortunate symptoms emerged in 2016.
Something BIG is about to drop and Sunak does not want to be around when it hits! Normally he would have waited until August, had Hunt issue a load of goodies in the August statement and then tried to ride the wave to the finish line.
Sunak has nothing to show to try and convince us to vote Tory. The Rwanda deal is about to fall apart so it's game over, no replay.

It won’t work. It relies on Sunak accepting it, he doesn’t have to. He certainly doesn’t have to try and get the King to undo everything. Even if they managed all that do they think that the public won’t despise them even more for delaying the GE even more.
