I’m about to upgrade and my choices are between these two monitors. Leaning towards Amphion because of what they’re know as far as translation. Still a tough decision.
Have you heard/tested the Ex Machina Quasars or Pulsars? I was al set for some ATC’s until I was given a demo pair. WOW! Definition, clarity and translation is unreal. Even at super low volumes it’s all present. Well worth checking out
I’m in the market for new speakers actually. Considering some like the PSI A23M, ATC SCM25, because I love them for being fully analog without dsp’s. But also Adam S3H or Focal Trio11. If you know about any of these, I’d love to hear what you think.
Myb video about how studio monitors work, what to look, price > quality, purpose of what kind monitor, low-mid-hi budget monitors. That would be interesting for me because from all yt audio engineere i follow, u are different in some quotes
Been looking at some of the Adam ones eventually if i start making enough money id like to invest in the surround bundle so im curious what your thoughts are.
It's a shame the Neumann's look completely uninspired, and bland. I am so torn on them because on paper they are some of the best out there, but they are dead ugly and not really something I want in a creative space.
We want part ♾ !
(Great videos on your channel btw)
I'm working on it!!
Loving my Amphion one 18s ❤
i have a kh120 ii with a kh750 sub setup. love them!

Btw have you tried the Genelec 8351 (or 8341)? How much would you rate them?

Listened a bit in the mid price range? I’m thinking 2-5k a pair. Would love to have your opinion.
I’ll have a think of this for sure!
Adam s3h?
You need to take a listen to Strauss. If you want transient definition, it’s the 👑
Need more recs
Genelec?
Do you have the Subwoofer from Neumann?
I do. Can pass some assessment
Don't you use subs?
GENELEC ?
ATC ?
KII'S ?
I've done the Kii's in another video ;)
@@panorama_mastering Which one ? 😇
KS Digital C88 :)
Would love your opinion on those
Can't get them in Australia! :(

So what's the verdict? My personal is kh winning. Amohion feels overhyped.
Amohion 💀

The Neumanns sound just bad, idk ATC all the way
No they sound flat and that is how monitors should sound like. If your mix is great, they sound great. If your mix is shit, they sound shit.
yamahas are also flat Genelecs also but they nothing compared to ATC's xD@@axoplanet6081

I love the Neumann's minimalist view...
