I had to watch more of the video before I commented - I tried to hold my TPMS reset tool to the valve stem and that didn't work - I had to hold it to the sidewall of the tire by the valve stem and all was good! I did a video on mine for my GS - check it out on my channel! Like the SS - sad they don't make them anymore.
I was screaming at my computer telling you to put it against the tire, not the wheel! LOLI think you learned your lesson, or at least after you watch this video. I think I'm gonna order that tool. There are more pressing matters, though. I just purchased a 2006 GMC Sierra crew cab. I want to lower it. I was looking at a 3/5 drop and a 5/7. Which would you recommend? I was looking at Belltech kits 673sp and 668sp, but you may recommend something different. What do you recommend? I just discovered you while searching lowered GMC's on youtube. I love lowered trucks and had an F-150 with a 3/4, but I may want to go lower this time. I look forward to your response! Keep up the great work!
Lol. Thank you. I did learn that. As for drops. I like mcgaughys like the kit I just used on my 02 GMC. They ride better with less bump steer. As for 3/5 vs 5/7 I like both but the 5/7 looks better to me. Depending on where you drive would determine that. My 02 Sierra drop video has a link in description also.
Do you think the SS steering wheel would fit a 2018 Silverado? I know on the older Chevy Silverados all kinds of cars steering wheels would fit 1988-2000 trucks, like Monte Carlo, Lumina, Cavalier. The only issue or difference I've noticed is the depth/dish of the steering wheel was more shallow on the car ones. I wish the Silverados had flat bottom steering wheels. Or at least I think I'd want a flat bottom steering wheel, I've never owned a vehicle with one. To me, the steering wheel is literally 45% of the overall experience/like ability of a vehicle. Imagine having a New Ferrari with a 1988 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight steering wheel... see what I mean? @@Mr.Beastforpresident it would fit but nothing would work.
I have the same one . You have to put it next to the tire for it to work faster
Thanks for that info.
Well worth the price.
Curious.. what do you do for a living?
I work for a cell phone company in a retail store.
Usually gm you can just push the unlock and lock button on key fob and will put it in learn mode .not sure with the ss tho
A lot of newer stuff that trick doesn't work
