Really upset there isn't a behind the scenes documentary/ footage for this, like they did for the rope episode of Psychoville. It's such an achievement and should be used as a teaching tool for aspiring TV makers
I was late to the party here, only watched it last night for the first time. Genuinely stopped the episode and tried to watch it elsewhere, thinking it had gone wrong. Boy was I in for a surprise.
I've only just watched it! I saw the rest on Netflix but this episode wasn't on it ... I'm now on BBC iPlayer and got excited when I saw this 'new' episode...I thought it was brilliant!!!
I still haven't managed to watch this episode since it aired on Halloween. I know it's not real. I know it was meant to go wrong, but broadcast interruptions make me feel incredibly anxious. This wasn't helped by my being actually duped by the loss of sound and then diverting my attention to something else. When the music started wavering (which made my stomach drop) I saw the ghost in the window and from that point on, I couldn't look away. I daren't.
An inside No. 9 film could work brilliantly if they did an anthology thing. It doesn't have to be an episode stretched out over a 2hr story. But several short stories that intertwine with a running theme could be awesome.
I feel a bit bad. Having watched Ghostwatch and every episode of Inside No. 9 that preceded this one, I kind of knew something was going to go ‘wrong’ and then snowball from there. I started to doubt that when the repeat episode went on a bit longer than expected, but then the music got weird and the horrible images showed up in the window, and I knew it we were back on. I thought it was such a clever episode, especially the Tweet that went out mid-show. One of my friends replied to it as well 😂
asmrbiblestudies it’s not. It used to be on global Netflix but has since been removed. However, I’ve already seen seasons 1-4, I’m just trying to watch this Halloween special, which they’re talking about in this video
It's nothing to do with America? There's a difference between the two my dad told me once, I'm sure, but it was a decade ago and I've slept since so I'll have to ask him again and edit this later on.
So glad Barbara won a BAFTA for her direction of this ! Absolutely deserved
She’s probably directed every show. At least it seems like it. All my favourites anyway. Very accomplished.
@@MarkPentler they've used lots of different directors for inside number 9
Jo W sorry I meant every show on telly, not every show in IN9 :-)

it really spooked me out when the narrator had whispering behind her
It was one of the best live TV events I've ever seen. Up there with Ghostwatch and BBC Scotland Hogmanay 1987.
Where can I watch it?
drumgold23 what happened on hogmanay 1987?
@@DrunkenGyarados BBC iPlayer

What do I put into Iplayer to find these, I assume, Live Episodes?

I wish I knew this was on tele at the time :(

I was rolling around on the floor, not very scared tho, screaming "PAUSE IT PAUSE IT!!!"

the halloween episode was such an incredible episode, we were sat on the edge of our seats, it was literal art

I really hope Inside gets like ten seasons, I could watch it forever.
Probably 9.
series 5 and 6 are not good.

Me too
I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS SHOW !!! WILL TELL ANYONE AND EVERYONE ABOUT IT ! BRAVO !!!
@Chocolate ElvisThat was most likely for emphasis.
Reece is basically the 80's teen movie geek all grown up...sort of like an English Anthony Michael Hall.
Ghostwatch, and 'Pipes' in particular, did something to me psychologically that I don't think I've ever recovered from!
Iirc, the Beeb got a lot of complaints about the programme (being too extreme) so you weren't alone.
I fell for it, it was a mate texting me frantically 2 minutes later to say it was part of it. Amazing production.
IT WAS SO GOOD!
how old do you have to be to see it?
@@randomstv6672 It's a cert 18 but some episodes are 15 (I think)
if I was alone when I first saw this I would never have recovered.
I did not know till 'inside a mind' did a video on it
An Amicus style ‘Inside No.9’ film would be a treat.
Thank you for posting this- the ghost watch bit was from my question
I genuinely turned it off when it went "wrong" had to watch on iplayer after the fact.
So did they play the gallery footage? Does anyone have that footage of the gallery talk back recording? I find that kind of thing fascinating...
A small part of it is on this video: ruclips.net/video/f-y6n30XQGo/видео.html
Came to ask this. I maintain a playlist of tv nerdery like gallery talkback etc
Mrs.Brown Boys lol
Lol Reece is so fidgety! He clasps his hands together.
I've got a thing for Mr Shearsmith and I'm not afraid to say it 🥰
The best dark comedies ever written!!! Just mesmerizing.
Thank you for posting- was there and it was a fun evening!
Steve Pemberton ♥️💥🎭😍
I have only just seen the episode!!
Is Reece Shearsmith hot or is there something wrong with me?
Anyone know where I can listen to the Gallery Talkback!?
You can hear a very small part of it here: ruclips.net/video/f-y6n30XQGo/видео.html
Thank you so much for recording this
I was there, great to see it again!
The bfi can't afford to fix the crappy sound ?
I wish i saw the episode. It bloody genius!
Ross looks so put upon , bless him x
It’s not a ‘season’! It’s a ‘series’. This isn’t America!
Didn't the classic doctor who show also used seasons?
Halo Galaxy No.
@@claresherman2278 Yes they did. They were called seasons from 1963 till 1989. Then changed it for 2005.

Correct 'SERIES'
When is inside no 9 series out coming on?
Whenever they make it XD
Babs looks half decent after the op!! 😄
