I remember seeing all the BEN DROWNED stuff before actually playing majora's mask, and i had thought that he somehow graphically made the link statue and edited it into the game to go with the story(???) then when i actually PLAYED IT and i used the elegy of emptiness(song that summons the statue) i fucking *FLIPPED MY SHIT* BECAUSE I THOUGHT I HAD THE REAL FUCKI N HAUNTED GAME AND I NOPED 5000 TIMES
Reminds me of this one time with my little brother, he played the game about somewhere in early 2011, He never knew that the "You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?" line was in the game itself (but he did know the statue was part of the game), and after the opening with Skull Kid stealing Epona, and going through the deku flower cave and got towards the opening to Clock Town from Clock Tower, he went *BERSEK* when he read atleast the "You've met with a" part, he started yelling and he immediately turned the game off and ran in his room. Soon, he came out. I had no idea why he did that at first, but I remembered this creepypasta then, and told him everything. (I didn't scream because I played MM long before this creepypasta)

I'll always find the scene with the lone tree in the field to be something hauntingly beautiful. The slow reprisal of the song of unhealing, and that moment of catharsis looking back at the statue. The song itself is something so melancholic and inciting of nostalgia. Although this scene was ultimately used to lead to a jumpscare, I felt that the the moment link and that statue were looking at each other, there was this silent understanding, almost like an agreement, amongst the two entities. Almost like an acceptance of what was happening already and of what is yet to happen.
Does no one realize how awesome it would be to possess a video game? Where is the afterlife? In Majora's Mask, bitches. When I die, I should haunt a Wind Waker game and make the MedlixLink ship happen. So, IF this game was not a mod ('cause I know it is), I don't think this "Ben" would be doing anything other than having a good time.
Seeing as how you can download the game as it is, and provided he IS using cheat codes, they're written into the code of the game, thus making it a mod. Also, I don't believe there's a cheat code that enables you to catch on fire after using your Ocarina.

For real though, this stuff will always have a special place in my heart for keeping little me awake all those nights.
There's a pretty good one based on the Godzilla game for NES. Nowhere near as good as this, obviously, but not bad either.
