I just wanna thank you for making these videos! I've been following your project pan and empties journey and I'm also a big fan of Hannah Louise Poston who did a make up/clothes/cosmetics no buy year some years back. During my time drawing and journaling I've accumulated so much stuff, I knew it, but packing and moving last year really made me realise just how much. My problem is that I forget what I have, so I end up not using a lot of my things, or sometimes it's just intimidating to look through a folder full of stickers or I feel guilty that a fountain pen I like isn't getting used cause I've just got too many. I completed 5 months no-buy this year and that was great, but I felt like I hadn't managed to even make a dent in my stationery pile during that time. So I've been telling myself that I'll go on no buy again next year, or after Hobonichi order or whenever. Something clicked when I was watching your video, I actually went ahead and counted all my inks and cartridges, gel pens and brush pens and pencils and washis and stickers. There's so many! But I wrote it all down and I'm starting my journey to accumulating less and using more today. No need to wait for a new year or even new month. So I just wanna say thank you for inspiration and keep up the good work with your project pan.
Congratulations on five months of no-buy! Hannah Louise Poston is one of my biggest inspirations right now too! 😍 I'm also thinking of doing at least a 6-month no buy next year, until my birthday in July. It sounds scary to be honest, but I probably need to do it too. Moving also made me confront how much I had. It was so many, I felt sick. ☹️ I haven't done a hard inventory just yet, but I think I will start posting numbers next year. I feel a little embarrassed to share how much I really have lol.
You’ve made amazing progress, especially on the inks! 👏👏👏 Congrats on finishing the Zebra Sarasa - still trying to pan my EnerGels in 0.7 (halfway through with purple and brown, blue is panned) and I feel you: These gel pens just don’t seem to get empty once there’s only a little bit left in them. 😅
You’re doing great! I am trying to make an effort to use my washi tape. I binge bought a n embarrassing amount last year and I really don’t use them as much as I should. So I am focused on making use of them and ridding myself of shame.🤣
Haha don't worry, I also feel embarrassed about my stash. 🙈 I have way too much washi too and I barely use them. I honestly don't know what to use them for. 😭
I bought a bunch of stuff for my birthday and I plan on getting some for Christmas and my anniversary. 😊 Otherwise, I've been on an unofficial low-buy!

Oooh congrats on panning the blue pen! Pens and highlighters seem never ending!! I need an easier product to pan to help me get by lol!
