Trying to get a grasp of this. Thought I got it... then tried the beginning of "Yesterday" and right away ran into roadblocks. If someone had never heard the chords to Yesterday... would they ever guess that Paul using ninths in the melody etc? Do you have any videos where you do this with notes that are outside a key? Thanks!

How are you able to hear the chord changes in any songs????

It's something you need to develop over time. Ear training will help you to hear the different chord changes.

Tomas I need major help with barre chord transitioning. I Can ring them out but I can’t get to them in a song fast enough. Mostly my pinky drags and is smaller and not as strong and stretchy. I’m just really frustrated. This is not a lack of practice. I’m talking a few years and I still can’t get my pinky to land right and I’m getting discouraged. Any advice? This is not normal right to take this long to learn barre chords? Thanks brother.
