If a very good reel doesn't perform as expected, is there any point in deleting it and reuploading it at a better time? Also, does editing or deleting-reuploading any post (say to correct any mistakes or change hashtags), does that negatively impact the post ?
I am exactely on the tipping point of just giving up on Instagram and giving it one more try. I decided to start making more reels and keep the posts as more portfolio based feed for the algorithm. This video was really helpful. Thanks Johnny.🤓
@@ItsJonnyKeeley Yeah, the watermark thing was food for thought. I usually add a little signature in the bottom corner to personalise the reels a little. I now wonder if that could be misconstrued by the algorithm as a watermark coming from another platform. So I’ve left it off this one as an experiment, to see if it makes any difference with reach....we’ll see.

However, I'm curious if my followers will just receive reels directly in their main feed.

Relevant hashtags will definitely help good content reach new people gain more engagement and therefore hit the explore page, just remember that everyone's explore page is different.
No watermarks? Coz I put my insta username on my reels, but if I don't someone else can use it without credits so how can insta say don't use watermarks it doesn't make any sense especially for photographers

See i have a page where i make cover songs. my audience too provides me a good engagement but the problem is instagram never boosts my reel or you can say never provides me reach on my reel. infact i see many of my followers get there every reel boosted even after not having such engagement like mine. i don’t know where the problem is. My reels litreally never get boosted. @@shubhamchoudhary2456 I think a harsh reality is that music is hard. I was a fulltime musician for a long long time and it's brutal. Also a lot of people don't watch with sound. See if you can find ways of making short videos about music that work without audio, then mix your songs in as well.
Issue for me is people i want to attract are those who buy original art in the fantasy theme. Any problems I would solve would be tips for other artists . So there’s a disconnect . The biggest challenge for me and many artists is one tends to get followed more by other artists rather than ones target audience . Please advise. It’s been said artists should demonstrate how their art serves their audience I find that also difficult since , like most artists we create what interests us, but we want to make art that will be a unique addition to people’s decor . I just feel stuck in the mud and I really need some wisdom because I haven’t had a lot of time to post as much as I should . Most of my reels get under 1000 views. I don’t get it and why some peoples’ s same reel shows up over and over on the feed. How does that happen?
Please how do you create a 'reel' using a COMPUTER? People with disabilities cannot use mobile telephone handsets. And many other people who want to retain their eyesight, prefer to use a large screen computer. Thank you.

I don't know but my intuition tells me, much like most things, do this once or twice no problem do it over and over again probably causes issues.

Yes same here. As an artist I want to create and express myself. Can’t do too much with there edit. Frustrating

Use an editor. Make the pic however long you want and add music. Upload to your drive or to reels

I think that depends how much traffic your main feed gets organically. It would be more but maybe marginal.

It's definitely a place that will get views. I think it's more about the feeling and narrative than the quality of video so keep that in mind.

I don’t know, but IG agave said avoid watermarks. I wouldn’t use one anyway the interface has plenty of branding options.

To be honest I think 'no watermarks' really is IG's way for saying don't post TikToks. I'm sure your credit won't hurt.

I do make arts and crafts with papers....hardly I get 1k views...I am not able to reach 2k atleast...many glitches...very dirty algorithm
