I was on the fence about whether the dining plan made sense for our family. We don't usually drink alcohol or have dessert. Also, we want to eat at several 2 credit restaurants. Luckily I qualified for Free Dining, so that made it totally worth it!!!! Wish me luck trying to figure it all out. I've never used it before.
So what I'm getting from this and other videos is if you normally order alcohol or shakes then the dining plan may be for you. Maybe Disney should consider adding a dining plan that doesn't include drinks for less money. I for one would be interested in something like that.
Seeing this video makes me feel so much better about getting the dining plan. I keep seeing so many negative comments about adding this plan. Almost all locations were on my list to try, mainly because of the dining plan.
The dining plan was totally worth it! We did princess dining/character dining and still had credits left over. It is A LOT of food. I wish we used our snack credits more. We were so FULL after lunch and dinner we couldn't stomach more food. I thought it was a bit expensive at first but not when you price it out. You might actually save money! Thanks, Nina for confirming what I calculated in my brain.
Thank you for this video! We are doing the dining plan and have 3 character meals and ohana dinner booked. Your price breakdowns definitely help us to know that we should come out ahead. Do you know how the dining plan works at the resort food courts? They always have so many food choices. 😊
Thank you! Great explanation !With the character buffets, can you get a normal drink(in the fix price)and a alcoholic drink(included in the dining plan)?Just asking because I would love some water or coke next to an alcoholic beverage. If not included, obviously I will pay for the "normal" drink and ask the alcohol beverage for the included dining plan.
Great review! I noticed the menu changed for Coral Reef. We are using the Dining plan for this trip! You are right, my husband and I were trying to figure most bang for your buck, but like you said, no stress, if I lose a dollar, it's not the end of the world, , Fantastic packages are a good bang for your buck, too :) Question, do you know if you order a quick service meal at your restort, can you sub out a dessert, instead of a drink? (Since we have the mug) Pre covid, you could switch.
Hi and thanks a lot for the info! So for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids of 10+ years, is it possible to ask 4 alcohol drinks? I mean, for example if we spend 2 quick service credits at noon and another 2 at night, can it be done or the credits for the kids over 10 years are marked for non-alcohol usage? Txs!!
Per the Fine Print, kids can't order adult drinks using credits. But I haven't tried to see either, so not sure if the system has them marked as under 21 or not (birthdays are listed in App). Thanks for watching/commenting!

Or for people who just want water and a salad, lol. Sadly it makes it too complicated. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Right w/o the alcohol at least

I think so, but not 100% on that. But think you could or should. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Yes you get a standard drink included with the buffets and character dining AND a specialty drink!
Very informative video, thank you. Really needed it! ❤
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching/commenting!

I did do a video on this, NOT at this time, no subbing credits. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Super helpful as always! Thank you!
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching/commenting!
Great video, does everyone in your family have to get the meal plan? What is the cost of the meal plan for an adult? Thank you.
I do explain that in the video. Its ALL guests and the price was an estimate as 2024 and 2025 prices are different. Thanks for watching/commenting!
I don’t drink but my wife does so she gets two alcoholic drinks. Most of the time the servers will also give me a soda!
I don't either, so my husband also gets 2 drinks.

How do we use our credits? Is it just with our magic bands?
yep! You scan and done. Thanks for watching/commenting!
is le Cellier worth it with the dining plan? It's 2 credits and I really want to go but not sure if it's a good use of 2 credits
You'll have to do the math like I did, might come down to what you plan on ordering. Thanks for watching/commenting!
How did figure $65 average for table service from the $94 and $25 for quickserve?
I walk through the math using prices at each dining location. Thanks for watching/commenting!
So if I stay for 5 days, Do I pay for 5 days or 1 day? Is it 95$ for the 5 days or 95x5 for 5 days?
Per day. If for ALL days, I wouldn't even need to make a "Worth it" video. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Oh and don’t forget you still need to tip your server! That’s not included
That is true. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Gratuity was included for my reservation at cinderellas royal table - is that not true of other restaurants?
@@mamabee2151 I think Royal Table and Hoop Dee Doo are the only ones remaining that include gratuity
Is it worth it if you don’t drink alcohol?
You have to do the math as I did to see. 100% depends on where you eat and what you order. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Thank-u! Love your videos
