  • The Beachcombers would channel the "British Sound" with their Panorama release, "All To Pieces". It does sound a little like the Dave Clark Five as some have said. The Beachcombers' recordings are all excellent and have stood the test of time. A little later, The Bootmen would make their mark with "Ain't It The Truth Babe" on the Riverton label (Etiquette's subsidiary). This group of Bootmen seems to have been the Capris renamed. Both of these 45's certainly deserved to have been given more airtime -- in my opinion.

As a Beachcomber fan (from Grays Harbor myself) I remember this song back then. "The Wheeley" was my favorite by them though.
Tim....what town did you grow up in back then....just curious. You've obviously got alot of trivia info and posters, etc. of the times back then.
You're an absolute Library of PNW bands info! Thanks for posting all these forgotten songs and memories.

$1.00 includes tax. I loved those days. Thank you Tim Mills.

Didn't the Bootmen also do an instrumental called 1234?
