Eurovision is my passion. Eurovision was my work and I am still gladly part of the professional community of this project. I started at Eurovision 2016 as Czech Head of Delegation. Such a Eurovision story! Form Eurovision in Sweden I went to antoher ESC experience. Kiiv 2017 Eurovision. This was my first and last failiur. Sometimes you need to learn trough losing even it is not plasant. We ended up 13 in the semifinal, second best score of Eurovision Czechia back then. But after this we established ESCZ national selection format. It was mostly held online. Because of this we found Mikolas Josef who went 6th at Eurovision 2018 in Portugal. Than 11th with Lake Malawi, at Eurovision 2019 in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Eurovision story is crazy. After finding all candidates and songs (-1) for ESCZ 2020 I resigned and left the television for working freelance.
Not to stop being part of Eurovision, I created this channel as I have an urge not to do just Eurovision Reactions from a different perspective. But also to do national selection reactions, watch others how they do their craft and also give a different approach for Eurovision fans.
I am very glad was part of many eurovision juries. Mostly in national selection and since 2017 I was in MGP Norway, Eurovision Malta, UMK national selection Finland. Juror in Melodifestivalen 2016. Biggest national selection. Also helped Eurovision Ireland, Eurovision Estonia, Eurovision Azerbaijan and many others.
Just amazing to be part of this community, so check my Humans of Eurovision, check my Eurovision reaction videos.

I agree with your assessment of Eurovision 2024. I'm Canadian, and this was the first time I watched Eurovision live. My pre-teen son was the one who got me interested in this competition. I had to discuss political issues with him and how crazy the world is now. It was totally sad how things went down.

He is a great person. The Croatian government awarded him unexpectedly 50.000 euros after the Eurosong and he replied that there were people who needed the money more than he did, so he donated the whole award to 2 children oncology hospitals (and he is not rich, he was broke before Eurovision and worried about the future and how he would pay for the upcoming wedding and how to form a family with his fiancée). And he never bragged about that donation. The other day he visited the 2 hospitals, which were so grateful for the donation (Croatia is a small country and it is not rich, so it ment so much to them), but he didn´t say a word about those visits on his social media, I found it reading some local newspapers.

Personal agendas overtook the songs this year. WHat gets me is that some of these artists tried to sneak in messages and materials after all the contestants were told to respect the rules. Nail poilish, a color palette on a leg, a non-binary flag, not coming to rehearsal, no participating 100% to a rehearsal, I mean it was getting ridiculous. Maybe they should cut out the Thank you's after every performance like they did in Liverpool. THere was also some fundraising from the Ukraine delegation for rebuilding schools in the Ukraine. Benevolent cause but not the right place and time.
Ther is a time and place for everthing, something I was told often growing up.

It was one of my favourite years for MUSIC, but oh god, THANK YOU for saying it - it was ruined by nasty, manipulative artists egos and their personal brand marketing schemes. Artists who make their politics their whole personality. Artists who see a trend and follow the crowd for points. The noisy, 'oh, Israel is included, how awful, I must boycott 'cos of my very pure conscience' from many artists, followed by absolutely no boycotts at all, at ANY POINT. Look, it's fine to focus on your career, just stop pretending you are such a pure creature of epic conscience at the same time. It was a very common thing these days, political piety points-seeking that draws news articles, praise and useful controversy (see news articles) to them. Some artists were wonderfully level-headed and professional - Baby Tasagna, Raiven, Teya, and Kaleen for example, but some I was personally disgusted by - including that Greek mess acting abominably in the second semi press conference. Bambi made Eurovision some political battleground then cried when beaten at her own game by a much smarter, tougher, more resilient opponent. Fffs, grow up. Why people decided to act like Joost was some sad victim too just said a lot to me about certain parts of the ESC bubble and fandom - and the fact that they continue to somehow blame Israel for Joosts's own idiotic lack of manners and general ability not to get himself into trouble by running his mouth. The other part is all the crying about being filmed by whoever - do they not get that ESC is a HUGE undertaking to stage, a live show with 30+ acts that need to be put on and got off a stage along with various stagings and props - of course every act is a cog in a huge machine, it's going to be pressurized and likely overwhelming at times, but it isn't some personal attack on your 'boundaries' by the EBU. It's a giant worldwide media event. You;re there to be exposed and promoted. I get some in the end don't enjoy it at all, but that's the nature of the entertainment beast at this size and level.

I kinda get what you mean, but you all only look at the one side of the medal. There are literally a lot of videos on internet of Israeli delegation literally bullying, filming without consent and making really nasty comments on other artists through out the whole Eurovision event. Hmmm maybe that's why some artist treated Israeli delegation this way, and you don't talk about it? Even many artist that weren't inherently attacked by the Israeli delegation talked about this problem like Luna from Poland or even Baby Lasagna (if i remember correctly) mentioned the weird atmosphere on this year's Eurovision. If we talk about Eurovision not being political, literally there would be no problem if EBU stopped inviting country's which are at war because it will of course bring a lot of politics and controversy (no matter if it's Israel or Ukraine, which i do really love and appreciate the whole culture and music but honestly, country at war has more impirtant problems than taking part in music event i guess). About Joost, i don't know what you've heard, but the official info says he was filmed without the agreement to do it, Dutch delegation literally asked EBU not to record Joost after his performance, they said its okay but then it was ignored. And now we are talking about "woman harassment" when he literally just pushed her camera away from her and she started playing victim card when she was the one who pushed boundaries of other human being. You are all talking about Eurovision not being political but in the end, defending Israeli delegation's actions and harrasements of other artist's just because oh oh oh poor 20 year old girl, and defending EBU while they were just making bad decisions and generally poorly and unprofesionally taking care of contest, is actually picking sides, it's just funny for me to look. Like i said at the beginning, the medal has always two sides.

I very much agree with you and you did a great job laying out the immature behavior of some of this years artists and delegations! Right now, I'm really shocked at how much the Eurovision fan community has partly turned into a mob and how those, while proclaiming to love and uphold the values of the contest, are so immersed in their self-righteousness as not to realize that they are destroying the very thing they proclaim to love.
I would have more to say on the various aspects of what made this Eurovision the trainwreck it was, alas, atm there is no sensible discussion to be had with those that remain in tunnel-vision without any ability for nuance, thought or reason. Frankly, seeing Eurovision and especially the fandom and some artists turning into this upside down version of what they proclaim to fight against, is beyond disheartening. And it is this trend of this particular self-righteousness that I believe will soon lead to very serious rifts and clashes between and inbetween societies. Thank you for speaking out, Jan!

Hi, thank you very much for the dedicated and professional work you do and together with sensitivity and compassion. I really wanted to ask you, because you have courage and integrity, to make a video in which you talk about the silence of your colleagues here on RUclips, those who are more famous - I won't mention names, but all the well-known commenters ignored Israel this year, and the word ignored is too mild. In my opinion, they boycotted Israel this year and did not make a single critical video about it. They thought that this was how they influenced public opinion. This is how they will 'punish' Aden Golan from Israel because 'they have the power to shape public opinion'. But the reality on the ground showed otherwise. All world public opinion was in favor of the Israeli song and contrary to all their boycotts, contrary to them and contrary to the judges, the world saw everything and was not affected at all. In my eyes it is the sin of arrogance. To think you can dictate moves by boycotting a Eurovision contestant. Instead of going against the boycotts, and the booing and abusive behavior of many participants against the Israeli delegation, instead of going against it, they supported it. In my eyes, you were one of the only ones who kept a backbone and wealth. I would love it if you take this challenge and make a video about it. Thank you

it says a lot what group of people are around the contest and morelikely its the far left or left supporters. Which is a bit different in west part of the Europe and ex-communist countries with this terrible experience. Lefties are symptomstically antisemitic troughout the history. We can see it clearly on UK's Jeremy Corbyn. Basically those anti-capitalists. Very dangerous ideology, but for some reason it resonates among artists and also losers. As it say - take from wealthy (and also jews) and take it for ourselfs. Of course those are the biggest bulies as such always were. History showed many times.
The thing is that world is not antisemitic imo. Not the majority. Issue is, that losers became powerful, every minority has a right to tell and do whatever, as
the majority took their rights before. It feels like a payback. But when it comes to majority, reality is different. People support reason. In here for example many people voted just because media was reflecting this crazy press conference with Joost and Marina Satti, also were quoting Bambie Thug. So people who would normally did not watch Eurovision (and they didnt) were sending votes anyway. Cuz actually this new rule of voting whenever you want also helped it.
What happened at eurovision, how delegation let their representative behave, how those journalist on set were behaving... this all was super shameful

Something that I'd like to add (in English so that everyone can understand):
I'm especially concerned about so-called "fan media". People without any proper qualifications trying do be journalists. Proper journalism with responsibility is not possible without good knowledge of history, politics and culture of the countries participating. Instead, many fan media just reproduce the emotions and own opinions of the authors or it's only about getting accreditations. There is of course quality fan media, but I have also talked to people saying absolutely disrespectful things. This really worries me..

Jan, your perspective is correct. Several of the artists took it upon themselves to engage with activists groups, asked to boycott Eurovision by the groups, decided not to boycott, and received threats from the same groups. Those decisions should not be totally on the EBU, but the delegations or, maybe, individual artists. Maybe the EBU could better define responsibilities between EBU, delegations, and artists. It also sounds like delegations need to make their expectations of the artists very clear.

@@lorifrancis8171 Bambie doesn’t have that much right to use Kan’s rude commentary as a front to express their long held criticism of Israel’s involvement when they come from the home country of Wogan and Norton, and Wogan would not have been as kind to their act as Norton or Scott were. I don’t know what happened backstage, and Bambie had every right to rest them or report abuse self when needed (maybe minimise social media during the event), and Kan people who were rude and vitriolic should not have been (and even as someone whose Israeli roots mean a lot to Me, I hate vitriol coming from our side as much as against it) but they came across as far pettier than us or Nemo did. Doomsday Blue is an excellent track because of dynamic layers, which my fave entries always have (Origo, Toy, Chains On You, Je Me Casse, Russian Woman, Stefania, SloMo, Zari, The Code, La Noia), and it is also comparable to Hatrid Mun Sigra for that (ie the blend of screamo with melodic vocal parts - I’m not a screamo fan but do love vocal variations) as well as political performance.

I thought the state sponsored ad campaign for televotes was the worst example of politics in Eurovision. Many smaller poorer countries can not afford to sponsor ads world wide. That was unfair. I do agree that EBU should be strict about behavior but that should be applied evenly to ALL delegations.

    • @JanBors
      @JanBors  Месяц назад

there will never be fairness in public vote in general. Even I am not sure to use this word is fair. Everyone does what they can or what they care. Some countries activates diasporas without a need of ad. Some countries / broadcaster gives money to promote voting or some managements doing it. Does not matter. This is just an ad for vote. If you dont want to vote or have zero attachement, it wont make you put your money anyway. Thats also why juries are important in general, especially in semifinals (but I would like to reform jury body completely) as it brings balance. You can then also say that anti-israeli campaing was unfair... we just sometimes must focus on system, not the issues we cannot solve.

If you check the backstage videos they were actually all dancing in the green room to each others songs and had many good moments with each other.
The main reason Eden wasn't part of the whole was because her own security people isolated her a lot so she was not approachable for most.
Anyway, I hated the fact that people outside and some backstage people (I think itt was reporters) went after her bullying her only because she represents her country.
She went there for the music, not for the politics and only because the president of her country is acting like a berseker that wants to keep continuing spilling blood, it has nothing to do with her.
Anyway, the reason why iolanda, marina, nemo and bambie didnt went to the flag rehearshal was because they wanted to support Joost and was against his Disqualification.
It had nothing to do with Israel or Eden.
Bambie was the only one that actively was against Israel participating and saying they cried when Eden qualified (which was stupid in many levels in my opinion).
The thing with marina was blown out of proportion and used as a behaviour against Eden which was not the case.
The video was secretly taken by a reporter when Marina was struggling to stay awake because of exaustion when the actual camera wasn't even on her.
You can also see Nemo caress here once in a while to keep her awake and that not only during Edens interview but before aswell.
Which actually is not shown of course because the guy started filming her when Eden started her interview so he can use it as "ohhh look, she disrespects israel and eden".
She was sick with fever and pharyngitis prior to the semi and had to rehearsh and perform while being sick (thats why her vocals wasn't as good as they normaly are live).
She tried to keep it together during her interview and a couple of others but when the camera was midway she started to give in her exaustion.
Yeah, she should had tried to keep it together for one more hour but sometimes our bodies and tiredness just taking over.
Anyway, she was already interviewed about it and she said that it was against no one.
If she wanted to disrespect eden or israel she would had said something during her turn but thats not who she is as a person or what she stands for.
In fact, Joost put his flag over his head during Marinas interview and also was randomly talking in between when her and others had their interviews (eden included), being annoying to everyone.
Yet she didn't complain, nor did she make a drama out of it.
So maybe people could differentiate a bit and check the facts before blaming innocent people only so they can be "ooh everyone is against israel bla bla bla" so they can have something to write, post or moan about.
People like that are the ones that destroy such festivals only so they can have something bad to report about.

Because they basically trampled on the values of the Contest with their behaviour. I ask, because I still love the music by some of those artists.

Thank you from Sweden! 🇸🇪❤️ the relationship between Eurovision & Sweden has been extremely damaged over a long period & some incidents, but I don't know how to fix it now after the treatment Loreen got last year when she won. And now this year when we hosted the show. And I think you say extremely good points which I consider to be the reason for the problem. And we need more voices like you to turn this around.
I’ve never experienced such an onslaught of people coming to our country and literally creating a total CHAOS. And the artists sure were a big contributor to it. They didn’t only showed up like they’re bigger than Eurovision, but also our country. I’ve never react to such things before (I should emphasise). And it clearly shows this weekend as Taylor Swift has 3 concerts at Friends Arena in Stockholm and 200,000 people from all around the world have travelled to Sweden. The contrast of these two events a week apart… can’t even be compared!
However, I am very proud of my Swedish representatives Marcus & Martinus who let the music be the focus all week and didn’t get dragged into this circus. Same with Loreen (even though European media spread fake news that she wouldn't give the award to Israel if they won, which isn’t true) who let Eurovision be the music. I would’ve been furious if the Swedish representatives behaved like these artists, whether I agree or disagree with their opinions. They’ve been given the privilege from the Swedish people to represent our country on the music stage, NOT on the stage of their personal political opinions.
They’re not political spokespeople for 10.5 million Swedes, who also pay for them to represent us in Eurovision. If they want to speak about politics every other day of the year, be my guest I don’t care. But NOT during the week when they’re representing our country in Eurovision. I reacted to this several times during the week and thought some of these artists were extremely disrespectful to their own country & people. By somehow think they’re bigger than the country.
And the other thing I thought about was the fact that I felt they just thought about their own image and fishing votes. Because WHY would these artists even come all the way to Sweden, be part of & help the same organisation (EBU) they’re claiming to fight and “support genocide & violation of human rights”? Why do they want to help them get the attention & money? Why are they allowing EBU to market themselves with their faces on their social media platforms? Why do they want fans to vote for them as it gives money to EBU? I never believed any one of them actually cared about the issue. Because then they wouldn’t even show up in Malmö. And it’s DISGUSTING in my opinion to use a serious topic or human suffering to gain your own image or interests.
Long text, but I really hope you & many others get encouraged to raise your well needed voices when it comes to Eurovision. And condemn the madness they’ve caused our wonderful contest because of their egos. And hopefully the relationship between Sweden & Eurovision can get better again. I’ve never felt more Scandinavian, we do have some idiots in this country too. But I’m VERY shocked about how Europeans have become. Because I do know that the Swedish people would also be the first to criticise both the artists and citizens behave like this when they’re guests in someone’s country. Keep it up with your work and all the best from Sweden 🇸🇪❤️

funny stuff is that whole season I am listening (when I dont like some song f.e.), to not to take it too seriously... and then. But let this be a healing point for Eurovision. I think this was in the air for quite a long time. I know some artists who just did not get the reason of the show, just their own exposure and maybe this is upon us to carry it further and better. Also on EBU to communicate much much better in general, and also those fan media outlets.

@@connie.22 thank you for your kind words! 🙏🏻 It was the UK tabloid The Sun (which is their version of Hollywood media, just writing shit) that made that fake news about Loreen refusing to hand over the prize to Eden if Israel won. But in fact, in all interviews I heard of Loreen speaking with her own words, she did NOT support how Eden was treated that week and encouraged to unite & spread love, not divide & hate. As a Swede, I knew directly that it wasn’t true. Not only because I had heard Loreen in interviews saying the opposite. But also because you never see the Swedish artists do anything other than letting the music be in focus during Eurovision.
Sweden is one of the most democratic countries in the world. Everyone’s free to express their opinions & stand up for things every other day of the year. But if you’re representing Sweden, you’re representing our country & people. The artists have been given a privilege to represent our country, in this case on the music stage. Let me emphasise, the Swedish music culture is a HUGE deal & pride for us. If the artists want to use this opportunity to put their ego first by making it all about themselves & their personal political views. Then they shouldn't sign up to take part in our national competition in the first place. We have plenty of jobs to offer them if they want to do politics or such things.
Having that said, if Loreen would’ve refused, she would’ve upset her own country & people. Whether we agree or disagree with her opinions. We have given her the privilege to represent our country on the music stage during this week. She’s not representing Sweden politically. Then we don’t give a shit about what she or any other of our artists do the other days of the year, when they’re representing themselves. But not when they’re representing our country. I cannot imagine Loreen or any other of our representatives doing anything other than going out on stage & handing over the prize. They've asked us to represent Sweden, then they're going to finish the job too. Whether they like it or not, personally. ✌🏻

I agree with a lot of what you say, here. The EBU needs to learn lessons from what happened over past few months, as do the broadcasters. I would say that those in charge of organising the event also need to look better at their risk management - while exact incidents couldn't have been predicted, the chaos that happened at times could have been anticipated and mitigated or prevented in advance.
I don't say this to put the blame on anyone, but it should be incumbent on everyone to be playing by the same rules, and to be being honest. Part of the problem has been, potentially, increased media (professional and fan) access to the acts and delegations - on one hand it's nice to see, and nice to get the somewhat unfiltered comments at times, but on the other hand some of those unfiltered comments can be the ones that inflame a situation.
I also think what some miss is that, compared to how it could have gone, the final on Saturday went incredibly smoothly. Some fans and fan media forget that while, yes, they know versions of what's been going on and why (for example) keeping in the Martin Osterdahl song could be seen as bad taste, a good chunk of the viewing public will tune in on Saturday having seen nothing. They won't know. They'll have enjoyed the show, be a bit bemused at the booing, and vote how they feel.
For Eden, I feel the same as I did for the Russian artists around 10 years ago - they're the artist. They don't represent their government, but their country. They are not the person making decisions. She is a great singer and got somewhat rewarded for it.

I disagree that the responsibility rests solely on the performers. Each individual case could be assessed. But I'm also not sure it’s possible to have Eurovision completely politics-free.. People care about politics, artists are people, and they sing about these things. LGBT+ topic has won, it is political. Where does EBU draw the line? Israel's entry is also very political (I don't think adjusting the lyrics helped much, knowing the original intention and meaning). EBU bans national symbolics on nail polish, clothing, even EU flag (symbol of unity) did not pass its filter, but the main source of conflict, controversy and politics - Israel's participation is fine? Seems like EBU really wanted Israel to attend. Despite all complaints coming their way long before the actual concert, including protests in Malmo. EBU took the risk and by doing that they self-programmed this escalation.

Hmm, hey! I was for a while after reading this thinking if you were reading articles and watching media during last 2 weeks. And probably not, and you are right I did this somehow in the feeling, that this everyone should know automatically. So my bad on this. Let me sum up a bit for you then, at least to try:
For sure its not just about Bambie, but they was from the beginning the most vocal, most visible artist with strong pro-palestine and anti-israel voice. They cried (quote) when Israel made the finals and blamed EBU (fuck EBU) for basically her breaking up the rules (trying to override the golden rule of not bringing politics to Eurovision.)
There was also this anti-israel petition. As they would like to boycott but cannot etc...
But ofc there were others - first of all other signers of the petition. But most vocal also Joost Klein with this fascinating press conference, after which people in Czechia started to massively supporting Israel without even knowing anything about Eurovision.
Marina Satti who behaved absolutely unprofessional there and here behaviour from this press conference was absolutely unacceptable. And Silvester Belt who said, what kind of trauma he had going to perform after Israel. Those I can highlight you.
The principle that those and few others made the contest openly political and blame it on Israel was the reason why I am doing those podcast. Not that I need to defend Israel on every occasion but because I dont want this to be legitimate. First of all, artists were, are and will be different but Eurovision is here for 68 years. They are not more than this but were the first one organised group to violate the show.
Second - I hear many people say, I have also received many messages of - would be much calmer if Israel just simply was smart enough and dont participate. Well, with this logic would be even smarter not to exist, to not provoke by the existence. This is how it all started in here almost 100 years ago. Would be better not to show off etc.
Such narratives are now brought by anti-semitic modern left. And so it was dragged by some Eurovision artists without them probably knowing anything relevant and related. Making victims up to themself but being bullies in reality. And reality is the thing I am trying to talk about, not this fake empathy, but reality.

But if you're a representant of a country, you have respinsibilities. Those are actually quite well named by EBU accepted by all the participating countries. This what you are doing is apologising it. sorry, but than the product - Eurovision will suffer. Chaos never lead to goof things.

The uneducated part when it comes to comparing Israel with Russia, why the artists even went to Eurovision if they were so bothered by Israels participation, which their own broadcaster had no issue with?! Fans with accreditation acting unprofessional and refusing to treat Israel as any other entry. They don’t have to like Israel but they should at least behave professional and civil against other people instead of the pettiness and acting like ten years old. And the blame game and the inability to see their own part in why it turned so toxic… etc etc

Hello Jan. I was defending Eden Golan during a long time against the bully she had to suffer, even after her selection. and i was arguing with very angry Eurovision fans but the attitude of the israeli delegation behind the scenes shocked me so i could understand other artists were nervous. This and all the paid ads, the shocking propaganda and satire shows on KAN channel and other israeli channels. With all of that i couldnt defend her anymore. The gaza situation is something very sensitive so artists are not indifferent to it. I wont insult her but i will certainly not defend the israeli delegation anymore. I ve changed my mind

    • @JanBors
      @JanBors  2 месяца назад +1

I am also not happy if delegation members were behaving badly, but no one knew them before Eurovision and the behaviour of hate started way before Eden Golan was even selected. Also the ads - many countries were doing the same, including Latvia. Maybe not for Foreing Ministry, but come on, UK would be so happy if officials would back it also. This is nothing. Everyone is doing adds but the biggest adds for Israel was simply this antisemitism. In Czechia, this was the biggest reason why Czechs gave 10 points to Israel in public voting. 12 to Ukraine is also obvious.
And important about satire - it is a satire and I wish you read BBC's Eurovision twitter for past few years. IDK what you would say about this.
So you can still defend antisemitism. YOu dont need to support individuals or defend them, I also dont do. But this had nothing to do with individuals, its just an excuse. Its clearly cuz of the country, using words and narratives which are not true. Starting with the simple fact, that bullying started in Europe, fans protesting, artists talking about boycotts, being clearly hateful during Eurovision. Its just you dont want to accept this, does not mean it did not happen.

If you weren't, you wouldn't create two separate videos (and so overtly) and would elaborate on the reasons behind such stances from the Eurovision artists. You're talking about these incidents like they don't have any base. But guess what, each and every day that passes by, more and more OFFICIAL national broadcasters are talking about the matter, pointing EBU and the Israeli delegation. So, it's not just a childish behaviour from a bunch of artists, we're talking about a general dissatisfaction among the contest's own members. So many artists (and not only the ones who provoked in that press conference) are talking about harassment, about one of the worst atmospheres they've ever experienced. And yet you choose to support the one delegation who seemingly were the one to mess it up. Utterly shameful and disappointing from you.
And to think that you once were a head of delegation... You deteriorate so easily the behaviour of other colleagues who come forward and put the matter into perspective, the feelings of the artists who at the end of the day, they are the most important piece of this contest and shouldn't have to put up with any kind of crap. I guess you are free to support their agenda though, the door to that Israeli-backed Luxembourg NF will always be open anyway...

La cantante israeliana è vergognosa in quanto ha dichiarato di sostenere le scelte del suo governo e di volersi arruolare nell'esercito il prima possibile. There are times when political channels like the Eurovision can be used for evil. At such times laughter and singing become secondary. A country that commits the most atrocious war crimes and ethnic cleansing of the century is difficult to watch. The Is'aeli artist singing their politically driven song (some call it state propaganda), that barely has been adjusted to fit Eurovision criteria - just feels so wrong. A song based on the I'raeli losses of *th Octo*ber, while the very same "victims" (still every day!!!) commit hundreds of war crimes against children, women, letting them starve, being ethnic cleansed by the book. It hurts to watch this sharade on stage.
As much as I liked the song (it was really good), I realized I'rael shouldn't be allowed to mis-use this international stage of love and understanding, of happiness and peace. Not at this time. Same for Russia. You commit every war crimes of the UN charta, you should be happy if you only lose memebership to Eurovision. Alas, I just found out I'rael has been made the main sponsor of it all (can somebody check on that please? Marocco something is an I'rael corporation?).

This is not the platform to educate you point by point on the mistaken soundbites you just parroted, showing you know very little and a distorted little at that. What is striking is that you put Israeli "victims" in brackets - you know, the 1400 people slaughtered in one day in the most brutal way, mass rapes, 250 civilians kidnapped for ransom etc. The 250K Israelis that are still internally displaced. When you can only see the humanity of the victims of this war - that Hamas started, unprovoked, and chooses to carry on despite the price its own people pay - from one side only, that says a lot about you. Then you go through some good old conspiracies with an (unconscious?) antisemitic flavour about Morroconoil - an American company interested only in selling its products. Alas, the founder is a Jew, so you must suspect nefarious things, eh?
The second largest sponsor is TikTok, owned directly by the Chinese government, the one that spreads disinformation worldwide to destabilise Western countries (including Ukraine), occupies and opresses Tibet and Hong Kong, threatens Taiwan and locks up to a million Uyghur Muslims in "reeducation camps" - wonder why that garners no attention from the likes of you.
