Great video Steve, ive also had the NCE for about 2 years and I still haven't opened the instructions manual I'd rather see the demo videos like yours. Many thanks 👍😊
@johndrabwell4501 thank you, glad you found it helpful. The Powercab is a great system for smaller layouts and easily expandable either via NCEs own booster or the DCC Concepts Aegis system.
I always thought it was odd that the specs say you can recall up to six but it was pre-set at 2. It isn't easy to figure out but I have found the section in the instruction manual now so will point this out on my next video.
Cheers mate, much appreciated. Let me know if there is anything you are interested in seeing me do. I have done a few if you look at my older videos but want to do more going forward.
Will, from the USA here. Thanks for this! I am a newbie to NCE Powercab, and still learning. And, yes, there is a manual, but NO tutorials put out by NCE that I know of.
Hi Steve, I have also had the NCE for about two years, and recommend it without reservation. I did however find that some of the instructions did not match reality, but the whole system is intuitive so not too much of a problem. Some more mini tutorials on the NCE would be very useful. Have a great Christmas.
Great tip Steve my Powercab was set to 3 recalls and I have 4 locos I normally run. Problem now solved. 😊
You are most welcome. It's good to share this stuff where we can
Great help, I have had a Powercab for 5 years and didn't know that. Thanks
@peterblackman8844 no worries, glad to be of help

@brianfearn4246 glad it has helped you. The manual is not the easiest read in the world!
Thanks Steve. Thinking of buying the NCE power cab for my new layout so this is helpful. Like your delivery. Well done.

Hi Clive. I know what you mean. As I discover more, I will make more videos. If there is anything you think of, let me know and I will film it.
Great video Steve! I was not aware of either of these features on the ProCab. Thanks from Pennsylvania.
Thank you my dear friend and glad it has helped.
Awesome video as always
Cheers mate 👍
Good tip thanks! I think the R/C Powercab is a five amp system. Not sure which system you were demonstrating as i could not see it.
@andrewblake2254 it is the smaller Powercab so has a max of 2 amps but I believe it Functions the same way as the Procab etc
@@thebritishrailroader yes it does, very much the same.
Thays excellent. I've actually just got one of these. I need to buy a UK power adaptor, though. I think Rails do one.
@DJ_K666 great system and yes, you can but UK adaptors. Rails might have them but if not, Try Coastal DCC or Digitrains
@thebritishrailroader excellent. I'll give them a try. I'm fairly sure at least one of them will be at GETS so I can ask there
So basically, Recall is like the memory setting for radio stations on your car's sound system 👍
@@Rocketed12 it is just like that. It will recall the last few locos you have used
I'm always checking the instruction book and a still can't figure it out! 😂
It's not clear at all is it. I always thought they were great but have significant gaps
