PSY said he wouldn't have released the song if Hwasa wasn't in it adding he's a big fan of her and how he was impressed with her singing and stage presence...Hwasa is so dope, many big names in the industry showed their love for her...Cyndi Lauper is one of those. Anyway this is the remake by Seoul Family of 'When the rain begins to fall' by Jackson and Zadora
They didn't recognize the song? 😳 It's a cover of the Jackson/Zadora duet from the 80s. It might actually be the cover of an older Korean cover, but it's still "When the Rain Begins to Fall".
I think PSY and HWASA should have studied the original singing of this song before adapting it. After all, the Korean music industry is still very respectful and cautious about the arrangement ❤️
@@ONITOPIA I believe PSY must have liked this song by Jermaine Jackson so much that he re-arranged it on his new album! This song was rewritten so well by him that everyone will definitely go back to the original song. Isn't this a joyous thing? 🌸🌸🌸
Although "NOW" is not the title song, but because of the cooperation with Hwasa, this cover song is full of moving charm 💖💖💖! Hwasa's strong singing ability, amazing dance, everything I like so much😍😍😍 To be honest, my favorite of all the songs on PSY's album except "That That" is "NOW"!
It just go to show even KPop does not require thousands of dollars to make an excellent and entertaining music video. I prefer this collaboration to the one with Suga.
The video is that video if you need to bring a smile to your face. Hwasa is my queen and her voice was such a great addition to this song! Can't wait till ya'll watch Psy and Jessi in Ganji!
I never thought about it in those terms, but it's so true: "You can't go 80% with an 80's style track". I've always had a sympathetic eye towards PSY and like some of his song, but I listened to this one 'cus I'm a big moomoo. I only had audio the first time even, but I was still "Yo.... 🔍👂! Yo!" just by the intro. I like it more each day and time - that futuristic 80's beat will not be denied.
I love your reaction😍 And ONEUS comeback on May 17 with the mini-album vol.7 "Trickster" with the title song "Bring It On". You can also react to Trickster Story Films 1 and 2, the story film looks epic like a horror movie and a bit funny too. I hope your reaction for them, thankyou🙏😊
Hardly anyone did, but I would at least have expected you guys to recognize this as a cover. You not only make fun of other cultures' music history, you don't even know your own.
Nah - consider that song came out almost 40 years ago (before any of them were born) - and lets face it Jermaine and Pia were never the biggest stars. Btw, I do like the song and Jermaine (the mv is strange), but you don't really hear it that much on the radio.
@@jamesrawlins735 Age is irrelevant, the point of being interested in history is not just knowing it from one's own first-hand experience. And their "throwbacks" are getting worse and worse. All they do is laugh, call something "dated" and that something that is from the 90s looks like it's from the 90s. It's the attitude that's the problem. I don't even look at the throwbacks anymore and then this. :(
@@hossetttren253 I used to like them too, but they have lost their credibility for me with their "throwbacks". Almost all reactors praise all of the songs that they review, otherwise they would lose views. Nobody likes everything, and that's ok, it's just a manner of how you say it. And they seem to think that they don't have to be careful in the case of old stuff because they won't have older viewers watching them. But even so it's disrespectful.
@@aligensa i feel and understand what you mean. It is true most will say they like it. I think little like this as well though..that even if we dont agree with or like them....that least the music and original artist get some exposure. I wasnt aware of original singers as i think i got absorbed in more michaels jackson music as he was more well known. Bu i looked up the original brother s jerome version and heard it because of psy reached global levels ..so if it helps bit know that the original artist got more exposure. This is good at least right?

That mv is weird - Jermaine and Pia look like they are living in a post-apocalyptic world wearing designer Italian clothing.

@@jamesrawlins735 LOL, the 80s. 🤷♀
@@劉碧珍-k4b They probably only had a look at the old Korean cover they remade. Search on YT for "Seoul Family" and "이제는".
