Gurrrl, you are off the Rector Scale🤣😆!! Whew, mercy . . . you can glamp!! You did a phenomenal job with your tent, accessories and just the lay out of your campsite. I will enroll/register in any class you decide to teach concerning glamping when camping!! Kudos to you my friend!!
@vir4lay Hey boo, heyyyy. Gurl thank you! I think this is the fun part for me, being able to have a different look every time I go out. I have purchased so much gear since last September that Im trying to make sure I use it. My glamping ain't nothing compared to some of the Asian Campers. You have got to check out some of their videos. They make my camping look pitiful.
You are the Queen of Glamping! This setup is amazing 💜At least next time you will know how to setup quick for your family camp and now you know this isn't the tent for you. Your granddaughter is adorable. She took that dip in the hammock like a champ 😂
@LisasEnchantedLife. Hey Lady! Ooogurl, thank you! If I'm going to be out here in the woods, might as well make it as cute and comfortable as possible. I think that's what I like more is being able to have a different looks each camp. I set the tent up but didn't practice setting up the side extension plus you know when you hot and tired your thinking process goes out the window. My grandaughter basically run things, we are all her little servant but yeah that was freaking hilarious. She always doing her own thing. Thank you so much for watching and taking time to leave a comment!!!💞
@memitaylor4323 Thank you! Probably did a bit too much for this camp but I loved how it turned out. Thank you so much for taking time to view the video and leaving a comment.
@garys4688 You probably know as well as I do that all we need is some good old Sun and be surrounded by trees brings us into balance and harmony. I don't think one single human being with a degree can even match that.

Go girl! I glamp in a camper so you have my respect for setting up this glam tent! Your voice is so soothing! The most magical part is the memories with your grandbabies!
@karennussbaumer1819 OMGeee you are the first person that has ever said that and thank you!!! Im all about the glamping, I don't see any other way to camp LOL. The next level is a camper for sure.
@deborahcullen2311 Awww thank you lady!!! Yeah I definitely check the weather almost everyday leading up to camp day but unfortunately when you camp in the mountains the weather will switch up quickly. It was suppose to be clear that whole weekend with no rain in sight.
Hello Gaia. Your video came across my feed and I thoroughly enjoyed it! You my dear are truly living your best life; despite the rain. WOW, you have an amazing setup and I can truly hear the pride in your voice as well as see it on your face. You are showing your granddaughter one of many, many ways to relax and spend time enjoying what GOD created, this wonderful earth. I ❤ your tent. For me, I liked the fact you were able to pump it up. I had no idea a tent like that existed. I think I could handle that especially seeing you knocking installation out of the park, and by yourself😱. I’m super impressed! You’ve gained a new follower ❤❤ GOD bless and happy camping.
@TinkerBell67 First off I LOVE your handle ...just made me think of one of my great aunties that I use to call Tinker Bell.I was the only person that called her that. I miss her so much. Trust and believe when I first learned about Air Tents a year ago, I was completely blown away and knew I had to get one. Sad thing is, they only sell them overseas but luckily I found a camping company at the time that shipped to the US for free as long as the purchase was over $200. They are a little pricey but so well designed with superb quality compared to your typical US tent. Anyhoodles, if you have not camped, I sure hope you consider doing so. It's such a beautiful experience. Thank you so much for taking time out to view the video, Im so happy it came across your feed. Sending you Love and Light!
😊 This is good for you to be able to see where water is coming in and figure the things you may need on your next adventure. Cheer up and looking forward to your next trip 😊😊

@MySUPRunnethOver Heyyyy LaShonda! Where have you guys been? I have not seen a video come through yet lady in the new rig. Can't wait to see where y'all land next. You right girl, when it rains it pours or something snapping or breaking.
@yolandam611 Im happy you stumbled upon the channel and took time out to view the video. It was alot of work but I love camping. The take down, not so much..
@Mztonyg Awww, thank you so much, I really appreciate you taking time out to view the videos. I am definitely trying more tents and I think Im going to do full on reviews.
Looks fabulous doll! We used to put pool noodles around the green lines of the support ties. Just a little slit in the noodles and it will keep little ones from tripping over them.
@joylynnburkhardt3202 You know, I've known about this hack but would always forget to grab a couple. I definitely need them especially when my grandkids camp with me. As a matter of fact Im going to look for some today while I make a run to Wallyworld. Hopefully they are rolled back since it the end of "needing them season".
One thing I learned, is the tarps underneath should not extend beyond the tent itself. That way most of the water will go under the tarp instead of inside the tent. That may help. ❤
@JennBX1 Yep that is absolutely the number one thing you have to make sure you don't have is extra tarp extended beyond the tent. The weather is so unpredictable when you are in the mountains so it went from being sunny all weekend to rain otherwise I would have left that kitchen area floor exposed instead of extending the tarp. Good thing is there was only minimum water seeping through.
I’ve really come to love your videos! I love how you turn basic tent camping into GLAMPING! I wanted to come here to make a request for a gear video. Not only of tents and the bigger things but more so of the smaller gear you use to make things more “homey”…for example, the rugs/blankets you use to cover the tent floor, your different types of lanterns, the little ceiling fans, the blow up furniture, etc. You use a lot of neat things that I would love to incorporate into my camping trips. Anyways, just a suggestion for a future video. Thanks for inspiring me, I live right outside of Raleigh, NC and can’t wait for this hurricane to blow over so I can head out to Kerr Lake
@stephaniewagner6715 I can absolutely make a video which I think would be nice to have everything I use in one place/video. Thank you for the request and ideal lady!!! Im also a Carolinian, right down the highway from Raleigh in Greensboro by way of Virginia. Im trying to get back to Kerr Lake on the NC side in September with my family. Everything is practically booked on the more popular campgrounds through September.
I love to glamp and have done it quite often, but it’s so much work as well. I don’t know how you did this all yourself. I prefer to glamp, but lately I’ve been bringing less because of how long it takes to set up and tear down. I think I’m about ready to upgrade to an actual camper. Super nice video and I’m sorry about the rain. Two years ago I was camping in Washington state with my kids in our tent when we got a storm. I had a literal river running through the tent. Every thing was flooding and we had no cell service. You never saw 5 people tear a camp down so fast. We just shoved it all in the van and went to a hotel. But when we finally got home, we had to set it all up again to dry it all off. It’s fun, but it is a ton of work. Looking forward to more videos from you!
@TravelinginSpirit You are right about that and now I completely understand why campers transition to a camper and Im so with you on the upgrade especially after experiencing a somewhat flooded tent. It is no fun soaking up buckets of water and trying to dry out a wet tent and gear. But I do enjoy the set up process although it takes for-ev-verrrrr. In my prep Im learning and figuring out ways to be more efficient to cut down on time and minimizing without sacrificing on the glamp cause I don't think I can do just a plain jane camp lol. Thank you so much for viewing the video and taking time to leave a comment. Its good to know Im not the only one that feels the pains and struggles of camping. But it's those good camps where everything is perfect and goes right that makes it all worth it and the beauty and pureness nature brings to the soul
You did well my GoodSista! If you were to camp during the cooler months and burn a fire, consider, a portable fire pit, as the built-in fire pit is too close to the tent at that particular site and set up. Happy Camping!
@catchingfeelings4395. Most of the parks will not allow portable fire pits. I wish they did because I have a couple in mind that I want to purchase. I already knew with this site was going to be a tight fit with the size of the tent and that I would not be able to have a fire. Trust and believe, I prep well in advance unless its a spontaneous camp. Thank you so much for commenting, keep'em coming. :-)
@Bonobos922 Thank you so much! I try to make it as cute and comfortable as possible. Yeah, I know every camp is not going to be sunshine and blue skies but I checked the weather everyday for a week and there was no rain in sight. But I know in the mountains the weather can change instantly. Thank you so much for viewing the video and taking time out to leave a comment!
@@andavis1870 you are welcome! Yeah Mother Nature is so unpredictable. Happy camping and wishing you and yours happy trails! Love your style! Cute, functional and organized. ❤️
Really enjoyed the video …to bad it rained on you I always hate getting up and having to pack everything up wet we hope you have better luck next time …looked cozy and relaxing
@bootsoutdoors. Thank you sweetie! Man, it is the worst packing wet gear. That's really the only thing I hate about rainy camps and the muddy mess. But it was cozy and relaxing and I absolutely love the sound of the rain hitting the tent. And then afterwards the symphony of the crickets puts me in a trance.
@geminirhythmspirit2573 I've had one similar in my Amazon cart. Real canvas tents require a different kind of care especially if they get wet. Thats one reason why i hadn't bit the bullet.
@BrendaleeG I think every kid should be able to experience camping and be able to share stories when they older with their kids at how they spent the summers camping and at the lake. My grandkids have been exposed this since they were babies.
Super nice tent setup. ⛺️ I've rented the vans as well, and it's definitely a good way to get things done. My suv was super packed the last time I went camping
@ulearnwithrobert9013 Thank you!!! I don't think I will ever stressed my self out again trying to pack everything in a sedan or SUV. I rented a SUV in one of my camps and barely made it. I don't like driving and not being able to see out my rear-view mirror. This van was perfect in such that alot of gear that I didn't end up using or didn't need to pull out like my Kayaks, storage containers and beach stuff all stayed in the truck nice and neat. Hey, I really appreciate you leaving a comment and viewing the video!
@andavis1870 you really don't know how much stuff you have until you start packing it 🤣. I'm glad the high winds didn't hit the camp. I hope you have a ball on the next family camp.
I’m strolling on RUclips and came across your video and bam I’m just love your set up, it’s truly amazing and beautiful. Glamping at its best! I just had to subscribe and see some ideas for myself. I also have 2 granddaughters and bought Ozark Trail 12 person tent, sofa set ( air) camp kitchen, ninja cooler , and refrigerator/ freezer cooler, and I’m still buying . Thank you for your inspiration! Louisiana here
@marie3919 Uh-oh Marie, you are about to go down the same camping rabbit-hole I went down. Trust and believe when think you are done, you see something else you want especially if you sitting around watching camping videos. But you know, I don't regret any purchase and I know I'll continue to find things to add to my collection. Im not sure if you grandchildren are toddlers but it they are you should definitely purchase the little lounge chairs. My grandchildren loved them. Lighting is the other big thing for me cause you know it gets pitch black dark in the woods and I think the right lighting just sets the vibe. I tried linking everything but if you see something and have questions, feel free to hit me up. Subscribing back and can't wait to see your videos. Happy Camping!!!
I love the tent and your videos, just a heads up I have a portable AC like you do and I think I know the issues with the overheating inside the tent. The ac on the exhaust side kicks out a tremendous amount of heat and there was 3 lessons I've learned from installing one to my 4 season tent. 1. Any leaks coming out of the machine will make the room super hot like almost a 100 2. The exhaust flex hose you have is to to long and it has to he as minimum as possible. 3. On the very end of the hose outside you can install a home exhaust vent cover that will automatically close when not in use just to keep the bugs and weather outside. Goodluck and any questions I can email you privately with pictures of how I did it on my Russian Bear Pentagon tent.
@MrEagles9359 Thank you so much for shining a little light on this issue and yes, I would love to see how you did it. I kept trying to figure out where I went wrong and this makes so much sense. My email is andavis1870@gmail.com
You need to lower set temp on AC to 62-64 to cool off tent 65and above is heat. I also know someone who has that tent and they hang a huge tarp over entire tent. Good luck sorry it rained😢 You set up beautifully❤
@jilllocke6137 Thanks for that piece of advice, regarding the AC, I learned some things at the end so next time I am prepared. I actually bought a tarp with me but was too exhausted to pull it out and set it up. It was overcast of course the next couple days so Im glad I didn't.
@thetravelouscrew Hey lady! I purchased it off of TEM:U. Im going to put the link of everything in the description today. But yeah, I really like this chair and will be using it as much as possible.
Hi, Just love your tent but most tents are not going to keep out hard rain so all you need is tarpaulin on top covering the top and that will keep the rain out. Can’t wait to see your next outing
@tammyjones5873. Well this tent has a very high HD and can take alot of rain. The tent wasn't leaking water in but the rain was coming up through the floor which was to be expected because the particular area of the tent is exposed to the ground and does not come with a sewn in bathtub floor. But the footprint is long enough that this portion of the tent sits on top of it. So it gives some protection for walking on it. It's kind of like a zone you can use as a wet area if you will. But you are right about using a tarp to give you that extra overhead cover from heavy rain which I always carry on each camp for those "just in case moments" '
Thank you so much I don't know the name of it but I got it off of Amazon when I find the name I'll let you know I'm waiting for it to come but I'm confused by the text it's coming UPS it said I have to sign for it but I'll be at work thanks for getting back to me I hate bugs but this will be my first camping experience I like yours did you get it from Amazon be careful in the water and by yourself you be scearing me when you going for your walks I saw one video it was bears on their site xoxo I will 😂🥰☔️🏕🐻be in the Brown skin girl camping 🏕 group
Hindsight is 2020, but a small tip - Make sure your tarp is not extended beyond your tent walls, as it captures rainfall and streams inside - U are doing well, and we only get better by doing.
@catchingfeelings4395 Yep #1 rule but.... This tent is different in that the area that water was on coming in through the floor is actually made to be exposed to the ground. But the tarp is long enough to extend out given you the option to have flooring. Would have been perfectly fine if it hadn't rained as much as it did so I kinda knew this could happen.
@LifeOverloading. Yeah I've been giving some thought about that be/c my car is really not built for all this although she serves me well when it's time to hit those camping streetz. But I do need something rugged. I like Jeep in particularly the Gladiator & I see you have one. I even like the new Broncos.Just don't want to give my baby up.
There will be more camping trips ahead! Sorry it rained so much the day you planned to spend with the family and the leaks you had to deal with. You tested this gear and now you know the pros and cons of it if you decide to camp with it again.
@1GunGurl Hey Lady! Nothing like a saggy camp but not all was lost. I just really wanted to take my grandkids out on the Kayak. I just hate raining camps because as you know packing wet equipment is the worst. I just had to spend the last 30 hours trying to air dry this big ole tent. Finally got it dried and rolled back up yesterday evening. By the way, did you send me a note you were going to be in NB in October???
@@andavis1870 I know that trip was exhausting especially with trying to pack up and dry out with that big ole tent! Hoping you get to take your grandkids on the kayak before the summer ends. I did reply to our old thread on nb. We will be going October 25th - October 27th. We will have to exchange contact information.
@TraceyJones-tw1kk. Tracey what kind of tent did you purchase?? Hey, anything you need just let me know girl. Female campers are about to take over. 🤩Yes you can lock it, they have small caribiners and locks that fit through the zipper holes.
I think you are a real good woman I am impressed the way you set up your camping gear no help so keep camping no disrespect but I noticed that you need to put a little more attention on to security because we have bad people in this world today and happened to you good luck
@hotshottocoolu2794 Thank you so much . Yeah, unfortunately we live in a world where even doing something as simple as camping you have to worry about protecting yourself.
Nice tent and set up! I absolutely love camping!! You inspire me to go ahead and solo camp when my usual crew can't find the time to get away. What type of flooring did you put in the bathroom tent?
@trinaflys6704 Hey lady! The only thing you can do is ensure you have protection and not let the fear keep you from enjoying life. I try to stay hyper alert and have my bear spray and pow pow close by. That gives me a little sense of security but I pray before going out and trust and believe and I am protected by the Divine. Trust and believe, I felt the same way in the beginning so don't let it keep you experiencing.
@MsTikiB Ok first off just realized you are in the area. Secondly, who knew this existed in Spotsy? I knew of one or a KOA in Fredericksburg but didn't know of this spot which I will be booking. My tent motto is, if its not hurting anyone but makes me feel good, Im getting it. And girl we have got to link up and do a camp one day. Im in WB. As a matter of fact, Im camping Labor Day at a local campground. Doing an overnight camp.
All that stuff, you need to stay at least a week. A motorhome might be in your future. We got a big class B, and we love. I will create more content with the rv.
@JoshThompson25 Hey Josh! Yep, this was a big learning curve for me as it was my first time doing this. I think I will be better prepared next time. But I must say even with the mistakes, we had a very comfortable, cool tent.

This tent is giving life that want I want but smaller
@barbara514 They do have a much smaller one.
Your set up is incredible. I love it. Way to go!
@stacynissley7336 Thank you lady! I really appreciate you taking time out to watch and leave a comment!!
You did a fantastic job 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I love glamping!
@renewilson2540 Gurl, me too! I don't even think I could do regular but I keep saying Im going to try it one day.
Wonderfully done
@chalettedorsey5989 Thank you so much!
I loved your setup! It was beautiful and cozy. Sorry for the rain, but there will be other days! Enjoy your travels and family. ❤
Nice setup 💕
@melmj4853 Thank you!❤
Be nice to see you with kakoon bell bell tent, with the zip up ground sheet ❤️
@geminirhythmspirit2573 I've had one similar in my Amazon cart. Real canvas tents require a different kind of care especially if they get wet. Thats one reason why i hadn't bit the bullet.
I love your tent and set up🥰 You did that!💃🏽
@mycartrunnethover Thank you so much lady!!! I really appreciate you taking time to leave a comment and watching the video!🤗
Great job on the air conditioner .
@elizzbethjiminez4817 Thank you! I was so lucky to come across that kit. Who knew anything like that existed.
Excited for my future grandkids to be able to share experiences out in nature 🥲
@BrendaleeG I think every kid should be able to experience camping and be able to share stories when they older with their kids at how they spent the summers camping and at the lake. My grandkids have been exposed this since they were babies.
Impressive work and nice tent.
@paulahenderson9878 Thank you so much!!!
Happy birthday Chrome! ❤
Super nice tent setup. ⛺️
I've rented the vans as well, and it's definitely a good way to get things done.
I love your set up!!!!
@AvaLight143. Thank you so much and for taking time out to view the videos!

❤❤❤❤ the family camping Concept
I love the tent and your videos, just a heads up I have a portable AC like you do and I think I know the issues with the overheating inside the tent.
The ac on the exhaust side kicks out a tremendous amount of heat and there was 3 lessons I've learned from installing one to my 4 season tent.
1. Any leaks coming out of the machine will make the room super hot like almost a 100
ITS ALL GOOD LOVE YOU WORK
Looks beautiful in side.
Beautiful set up! I really like your 2 person chair inside your tent, that’s something I would like to purchase myself
@thetravelouscrew Hey lady! I purchased it off of TEM:U. Im going to put the link of everything in the description today. But yeah, I really like this chair and will be using it as much as possible.
@@andavis1870 really? I need to check and get one for myself
But you are right about using a tarp to give you that extra overhead cover from heavy rain which I always carry on each camp for those "just in case moments"

Upping my Glamping game!

It's faster with a hand pump???? You may need to get a stronger electric pump but great job

@SusanRogersMakingItWork4Me Thank you so much Susan!
Wow very cool tent if you like camping so much you should invest in a overlanding vehicle / Look up overlading set up
@LifeOverloading.
Very Beautiful ❤❤❤❤
@calvinyolanda3404 Thank you so much!
Good job!

@sh0964 Something I always do to avoid rainy camps but unfortunately when you camp in the mountains the weather is very unpredictable.
FYI, the hotter outside lower your air conditioner to the lowest temperature and you will feel the difference.
Pretty
@ADJEISAMUEL-hn6zv Thank you!!
Hey girl I'm waiting for my tent to come so I'll need your help and advice on camping can you lock your tent with the zippers thanks for this video
@TraceyJones-tw1kk. Tracey what kind of tent did you purchase?? Hey, anything you need just let me know girl. Female campers are about to take over. 🤩Yes you can lock it, they have small caribiners and locks that fit through the zipper holes.
I guet a quechua 6.3 F&B to big for me i,am 72 , too much , but Greate .have a good camping , from Qc Canada
@ginapierce2861 Yes do it cause messing around with folks will have you missing out. I used tiles. Here is the link: a.co/d/3izQbUN
Girl great job, bur u need an solar pump for tent. It's just beautiful.
@cookiekirkland8689. Girl thank you so much!!! A Solar Pump?? Off to Amazon to see if I can find one, LOL.
Do you have a link for everything associated with AC?
@greenketogoddess2295 Yes ma'am, just linked everything in the description. Let me know if you have any questions.

How do you keep yourself protected from bears, mountain lions, mountain men??? I love this life but am afraid of the prowlers 😫
@@andavis1870 yes the fear has got to go….love your vids thanks for responding!!!

Im a tent junkie.. I think around 11.
@@andavis1870 LOL It's not just me! I feel better. My "collection" started for going to full day music festivals.
@MsTikiB Ok first off just realized you are in the area. Secondly, who knew this existed in Spotsy? I knew of one or a KOA in Fredericksburg but didn't know of this spot which I will be booking. You have to remember also the ac isnt going to do much because its not insulated so if you arent right by the ac its going to be pretty useless
@JoshThompson25 Hey Josh! Yep, this was a big learning curve for me as it was my first time doing this. I think I will be better prepared next time. But I must say even with the mistakes, we had a very comfortable, cool tent.
So what do you prefer, your smaller tents or your larger tents?
@katrinalryan I prefer the smaller tents especially the Hub tents.
You pretty much have to make your tent dark for it to get cooler
@jennifererwin9087. I agree if you want to get it freezing cold. I did get it down to the set temperature of 71 which was very comfortable.
