My late grandfather's next door neighbour had been a Mosquito pilot during the war and he regaled me when I was a kid telling stories about flying missions just like this one! He absolutely loved the Mosquito: he would say, "Once you've flown a Mosquito, you didn't want to fly anything else!"
Very cool Mission. On my first try I collided with my wingman after I gave him the order to attack the Ju88s. he was so violently weaveing behind the first 88 as I wanted to fly past for the second one that He smashed into me from behind.. I often wish DCS AI would be on the same level as this superb campaign!
This is just amazing ! Well done! So looking forward to this release. I can't wait to fly the "Oboe" mission! I'm really enjoying the Spitfire campaign's presently, so immersive and fun! Awesome work, here's to many more! 👍
Thanks my friend, cant wait that tis all stars. I have just two more sorties left in the beware beware, then I'm ready for this. Cant wait to finally do some WWII night action. To bad there is no 88 C-6 or similar. But you made a masterpiece her with what DCS offers today. Thousand thanks for your efforts into this and making this possible👍
i learned a while ago about turning the gamma up and with it, the night is truely beautiful! for some reason while i watch your videos, i always end up wanting to play dcs by the time your videos over!
Damn chose search light are something !! Love the fact that being high will make you more visible by ennemies radars. Awesome stuff here. And also the fact that your own flak or night fighter can shoot is down, if we don't give the correct code. Outstanding!!
The Mosquito was largely constructed of wood (hence the nickname "the Wooden Wonder"), even the props were wooden, and so they had a rather low radar signature. Their wooden construction made them light and very fast. They were the fastest twin-engine fighter-bomber in WW2
Incredible stuff. I have been ignoring DCS lately because I love VR and can't seem to get decent visuals and FPS with VR with my current rig. I really don't want to fly on a monitor but with this great campaign, I think I'm going to have to! In fact, in the future before buying any new flight modules, I will first see if Reflected has or is making a campaign for it. If no Reflected campaign, I don't want it! I've been ridiculously spoiled!
Great mission, well done looks like a great campaign and really nice to see one for the Mossy! Would have changed the line at the end of the briefing to "Right Chaps, Keep low, keep schtum, give them a damn good hiding and get back to blighty for tea and medals." much more WW2 RAF...needs a bit of stiff upper lip...
Man this is really nice! Probably incredible in VR in my Aero. Wow, search lights! That's a first for me...and I've been flight simming for more than three decades. I just can't get my head out of the Viper at the moment, but this is really tempting me!😂
Great atmosphere of night missions over occupied Europe. By the way, I would love to see Avro Lancaster in DCS World, that's what I think after this video :) And it's nice to hear the Polish name Lewandowski. Poles also flew the Mosquito
a level auto pilot option would be so nice. especially for single player. nice flying, this campaign looks rather fun. might have to pick it up once i learn to fly the Mosquito
I'm glad they nerfed the search lights a tad. Last time I tried them they would track me through hills and light me up immediately as if they were radar-directed.
Love it, but will never get used to how Williams pronounces Fu-El XD Question tho, why don't you run props to full RPM setting before landing, in case of a go-around, you want full available power, no?
Not sure, but it's the procedure on all warbirds. I guess it prevents the engine from overrevving if you apply full power quickly in case of a go around. The constant speed props couldn't react fast enough to quick throttle movements.
I got the Mosquito a week ago and I suck so bad still. I would LOVE to play this mission, but right now just getting off the runway is a 50/50 proposition. Once airborne, I am getting fairly proficient and even landing. Working the hand brake while nudging the rudder on takeoff is so far eluding me. That's the only thing holding me from getting this module. Soon...

This is exciting! The nocturnal air war is so rarely represented in games and sims.
It's absolutely awesome isn't it mate 👍
Yes. Been waiting for a peek at one of the missions. Just watching this now mate 👍

This looks amazing. I can't wait! Nice touch with the Moonlight Sonata as well!
It's one of my favorite pieces to play :)

Thanks, enjoy the Spitty, those will help you get familiar with RAF procedures - this one will deepdive into them.

So looking forward to this. The radio and chatter from Dai sound great and really increases the immersion. Great job Reflected!

I like that!
12:07 Nice 633 Squadron reference. 😁
There will be more ;)
I'm gonna recommend you for a medal. And when it comes, I'm going to pin it right on your...

Enfin quelqu'un qui fait du DCS de nuit avec un avion à hélices. Ta vidéo est super ! ♥
Merci :)
That's absolutely amazing and so realistic. Awesome stuff

Agreed! ED said it’s coming eventually.
Looks really good
17:15 - damn, i love this "strzelają do nas"
24 carat gold as usual 👍
That's the air war equivalent of a commando raid! Amazing.
I suppose this is about as close as possible for us to ever get to actually flying a night intruder op .it must have been a real high adrenaline buzz.
Well, now I have no other choice, just to buy it. ;)

@@ReflectedSimulations Ah ok, never heard of that, thx!
My late father in law was with 140 wing, 2TAF under Pickard.
That’s really cool! Did he tell you any stories?
I can wait for the campaign
It was released in 2023

I find that it's best to stay off the handbrake during takeoff. Tends to lead to overcontrolling.
