Dimebag Desmond hey there, I recorded one some time ago but I had some background noise. I don’t record straight into my computer...need to figure that out. So ended up not posting it, I’ll try to get one done in a couple days. Thanks for watching 👍🏼🤘🏼
@@stenuboy3603 thank you! I’ve been meaning to record one, haven’t forgot just haven’t found the time yet. Might record a quick one just to grab the overall sound for each pickup dist/clean.
😂 why?! I have FR specials, regular FR, Jackson FR, an FR special for Schecter...they are all a bit different but none is a “bad one”. Thanks for watching 🤘🏼
You won’t regret it, is a great guitar. Sorry is taking so long to post a follow up video. The pickups are surprising dynamic and I am a big fan on the black/gold/white combo. I think the pickups are surprisingly good.
Dang, time flies...still no issues whatsoever. Stays perfectly in tune, I am always making sure the term is parallel to the body, that sure helps. Still enjoying it a whole lot 🤘🏼!
I like black/white combos so I haven't considered changing or covering them, but I have seen some with black pups (I believe KEXs imported to either CAN or JPN) and they do look really good. Biggest reason I haven't changed them though is I truly like how they sound. Thanks for watching.
How old/tall is the kid? I first got a Kelly when I was 16 not sure if that falls into what you have in mind. I have young children (oldest is about to turn 12, he is a tall fellow and the guitar still a bit to large for him). Is not just the neck, but the shape/right arm rest makes your arm stretch a bit more than let's say a Strat or LP. I hope this makes sense (and helps).
Hey there, thanks for watching….I have to say, this board feels great, can’t remember what variety was since rosewood was banned for a little bit with imports but is definitely a better kind of “rosewood”. Feels closer to Ebony than my other rosewoods feel to Ebony if that makes sense.
This is an UNBOXING video as the title says, that's it. If you want to hear how it sound check out my other video. There weren't a lot of videos of this guitar when I purchased it, I figured posting an unboxing could help some people, I still need to work on how to properly record audio, I am sure the video helped someone looking for how the guitar actually looks beyond the stock photos. Thanks for watching.
I've had this guitar for a year now and I love it. It's plugged into a Boss Katana 100 MKII. It's a lot of fun.
I’ve got this guitar. I do like it. Looks great, pickups sound good. I do have tuning issues with it though compared to my other FR equipped guitars
Jackson Kelly made in U.S.A. , the definition of metal guitar
I still stand for the 90s KE II , symphony of destruction
Nice video man! Could you post a video of a demo on this guitar? I’m thinking about getting one.

@@iavera That would be so awesome, im super close to buying one so im just curious of how it sounds!
I'm considering this as well
Can you say how well does the floyd rose hold tuning on this guitar? Does it stay in tune after some strong dive bombs or squeals?
Soon as I see the word Special on the bridge, I run like hell!!!!!

I can never understand why people do a video of unboxing an instrument that’s so uneducated . Play the dam thing after it’s unboxed so we can hear it
