今回の映画、両澤案である「旧式引っ張り出してでも頑張って勝つ方がカッコいいじゃん」を基にしたから主役3人の決戦時の機体が運命終盤機体の強化版だったけどこの2機もそれに倣ったのだろうか。見た目で見る機体の原型の残り具合的にデスティニー(コクピットとシステム以外以前のまま)→デュエル(コクピットをザクの物に変更、VPS核動力且つ新型AS以外以前のまま)→ストライクフリーダム→(腹部と腰回りを重点的に改修し取り回し向上、バックパックユニットをプラウドディフェンダーに換装可能等「ストライク」要素の強化以外ほぼ以前のまま)→バスター(全体的に大改修、センサー類の追加と取り回しのいい大威力火器の運用を可能にする為に原型から大幅変更)→インフィニットジャスティス(ぱっと見新型リフター以外以前のままだが実はまるっきり別物。ズゴック被せる都合上装甲の形状など色々変更した可能性大且つ頭部に大型ビームサーベル追加)って感じですね

劇場で観た時の驚きたるや・・　デュエルとバスターはそれぞれ色々なガンダム のオマージュを注ぎ込んだデザインだったのでもう一度活躍が見れて劇場版で見れるのは本当に嬉しかった。

劇中でミレニアムを守ったシーンが好き。20年の時を経て元々連合が作ったこの2機が乗っていた戦艦は違うけど連合側で戦っていたマリュー達を守るのが、デュエルとバスターは元々連合の機体だからこそ、ようやく本来の役割に沿う形で運用されたのが、とても良かった。
