Bro, watching Majin Vegeta go through his arc of anger and humiliation, the fighting, and ending in a sacrifice knowing hell was still waiting for him was one of the greatest character arcs in history. And then the callback in Super. Vegeta letting off that reckless attack again after his monologue on pride was perfection. Living through it was the proof of how far he's come. Best character in the series. Watching that growing up was such an experience

But as you said, Vegeta unlocking SSRB and overpowering Toppo is a pretty great moment that gives him an actual tangible win. So even if it doesn't have the same emotional weight as Vegeta's sacrifice in Z I would still put it as one of my favorite Vegeta moments.

For me, it was SSJ4 Goku’s speech to Omega, alongside SSJ4 Vegeta’s follow up:
“ you know I never understood how people can delight in hurting others. YOU SEE when you take life you live in fear because, deep down you know someday your life will be taken as well. It’s simple if you want good things to happen in your life you have to be good”.
“ I would listen to him if I were you. The things more often then not the things kakaort say come to pass. But I know it’s gonna take more then talk to change your mind I have to learn the hard way myself “.
Something about it made me sit there, pause the episode, and just admire the beauty of that exchange. Goku’s wisdom and Vegata’s growth just hit hard when paired together, and I came to appreciate GT for these kinds of moments.

My favorite scene is the ending of GT, where the theme is playing and there is a recap of the entire series (at that time) ending with Goku flying away with Nimbus and the Power Pole.

My first memory of Dragon Ball was Goku vs Great Ape Vegeta. I had no idea what this series was, then out of nowhere, the big monkey loses his tail and becomes a regular guy. I was so confused, but too intrigued to stop watching. Here we are today, 18 years later.
Imagine being "the biggest and greatest of all time" and actually thinking that's something to brag about. Reeks of "parents didn't love me" energy.

My favorite moment was the father son Kamehameha. It showed that Goku wasn't there to end the battle himself, but he was there with them in spirit. Like to think of Toriyama cheering for us.
Gohan's Super Saiyan 2 transformation is still extremely iconic to me and it's one of my favorite scenes of all time. The entire Cell Saga actually.
My most memorable Dragon ball episode is when Goku and Piccolo fought in the tournament for the first time. It gave me much inspiration to draw and creat stories of my own. It also inspire me to press forward when things get dire.
It was 1998, was at a Cici's Pizza, and DBZ was on Toonami in the buffet area, Full Powered Frieza vs SSJ Goku. My fondest dragonball memory

I grew up with DBZ Kai. My favorite scene is probably when Goku was fighting Frieza and was hearing Vegeta's voice in his head. That motivational speech Vegeta gives...it was rather emotional for me.
Then you have Frieza trying to drown Goku. That was also emotional. Goku giving the "I owe it to too many people not to lose" line got me too. Knowing there are people in your life that count on you is comforting. It motivates you to push on, no matter the trials you face. It makes you stronger. Goku just keeps pushing himself to new heights. The hardships he faces only make him stronger. If that isn't motivation, I don't know what is.
Farewell, Toriyama. Thank you for being such an inspiration. Thank you for all you have done...
The best Dragonball moment for me comes from the Saiyan Saga. You all know what it is.
Goku vs Vegeta is a blast of a fight, with Goku just barely being able to keep up with Vegeta using the Kaio-Ken, and it's capped off by undeniably the best beam struggle in the series, with Goku pushing his body past it's limits as he makes that last desperate burst that overwhelms Vegeta.
Even though it's not the end of the fight, it's the perfect finale after Goku's training arc with King Kai, showing just how far he's come since facing Raditz.
Seeing goku scream I WILL NOT LET YOU DESTROY MY WORLD is what git me into dragonball seeing this man ĝiving his all against overwhelming odds was so inspiring to me

Dude, super saiyan 4 was what lit my little heart ablaze when i was a kid. The first time i saw ssj 4 goku and vegeta was in tenkaichi 2 on ps2. No having him be a playable character on xenoverse 2 is a dream come true. But when it comes Toriyama's works? I have to say the first time gohan uses ssj 2. The click in his mind while fighting cell was done so well! Ill miss the time i spent waiting and praying for Toriyama to put out a new idea. His art was always so noticeable and recognized. Blue dragon and dragon quest being other stories with his art style. Man, imma miss him. We was without a doubt the inspiration behind my art and my want to leave a legacy behind!

For me it had to be when Gohan squared up with Buu after Grand Elder Kai's rital. The confidence Gohan cameto that fight with in that moment was peak.That staredown paired with the music was ice cold and you were meant to feel it. Thank you, Toriyama. You will never be forgotten.

So I grew up watching reruns of the saiyan arc and the namek arc on adult swim early early in the morning before school started. A few years ago during high school, I started a full watch through of the entire franchise every morning before class. That was an experience I'll never forget, as it was my first time ever watching anything other than those two arcs back in 3rd grade.

My favorite Dragonball memory was during Dragonball Z Kai when Gohan slowly making Piccolo care more about the people around him rather than just it being about all about himself when they were training when Vageta and Nappa were on their way to Earth, it goes to show that even someone who is deemed to be heartless can appreciate more to life similar to him showing Android 16 that his prime directive was basically bs and he got to appreciate the wildlife and animals and having a true bond even with a metal body or the spawn of pure evil can have a positive effect on the outcomes of a persons destiny and outlook on life from a simple act of kindness

My favorite moment in all of Dragonball is Goku's first transformation into super sayain. I remember watching it on Toonami with my brother on a small TV in our room and we were both so excited about it. Truly a memory I'll never forget.
The final explosion was probably my all time favourite moment in Dragon Ball, seeing the "end" of a great character who went from slave from childhood to beyond the old legend of Super Saiyan and sacrificing his life for his family and even his oldest rival, and the second is the first Super Saiyan transformation, as it probably is for a lot of people, their very close to each other but Vegeta's sacrifice for everyone to (Attempt) defeat Buu is my favourite moment.
My favorite scene is Goku powering up in front of Ginyu, causing him to freak out. This was back when it was on TV and had the epic rock music in the background (not sure the official name of the dub, but it was a pretty fun one to watch. The same voice actress for Gen Kai from Yu Yu Hakasho voiced Frieza).
I love the fact that Goku was killed by Piccolo's special beam Cannon then Gohan did a similar thing against Cell Max bringing back the nostalgia for sure

A lot of my favorite dragon ball parts are actually some of the slice of life filler. The best singular episode being Goku’s Ordeal, when he and piccolo have to get driver’s licenses. As a kid, I played that episode non-stop, I loved it. Following that is Goku and Gohan just taking it easy and relaxing in the week wait before the Cell Games.

Fav scene is when goku breaks out of the regeneration chamber on namek. I woke up early one morning as a kid and my oldest brother had it on tv. That’s the only memory I really have of my oldest brother bc he isn’t really around much now.

My best dragonball memory is a story my mom told me. She had a heat stroke and was unconscious for a few days. And during the time she was unconscious she was in a hallucinogenic state. Well she told me that in her vision she was escorted back “home” by goku and vegeta. But of a long memory but being escorted home by 2 of the best saiyans is a honor to me

I remember using the family computer for something and I found a video with cartoon characters in so I watched it. Was one of the old DBZ Linkin Park AMV videos (about 2006ish) and from that moment on I've always been really into Dragon Ball, RIP the big man up there. Burcol, have you considered making a video on getting ALL Z Ranks in the Story Mode of both Xeno 1 and Xeno 2 as a "Lv.120"?!
Ngl, Xeno 1 was simple, but Xeno 2 is... something else...
Some of them caught me off guard and take me over an hour to figure them out. The rules are simple:
- You must use Lv.120 Burcol (Main build)
- If you fail more than 5 times, you can adjust the build to your liking. (Lets say you got S rank 5 times)
- The more you adjust, harder the mission was to clear then.
- We can sum up which mission is hardest to get the Z rank on with this metric.
QotD (Question of the day): Personally, just like many other dragonball fans, Goku Vs. Frieza is certainly most memorable moment for me as well. Especially since dying for the 2nd time was a big deal back then in the story. Krillin dying for the 2nd time and goku's rage amplified into a Super Saiyan. 2nd most memorable was Vegeta's speech, before he perishes.

As a kid, I never seen the Anime, I only played Budokai games specifically Budokai 2 on PS2, it wasn’t till I was 8 when I saw Goku’s badass transformation into a super saiyan.

My favorite scene in Dragonball was Buuhan fighting against Vegito. From Vegito’s quips to being turned to normal after being turned into a jawbreaker. That whole segment will live rent free in my mind forever.

Honestly, in terms of my favorite Dragon Ball memories, there's quite a few to choose from. I kinda knew what it was about before I started watching, having been introduced by a RUclipsr playing the original Xenoverse on his channel, then watched DBZ, then DBZA (which on its own has some of my favorite memories), then some of the OG Dragon Ball, then Super. I never really grew up with it, more went back to see what it was like, as I've done with a lot of my favorite shows, including 2003 TMNT.
I think my favorite memory, in all honesty, is hearing Broly's relationship with Baa in the Broly movie. That movie is my favorite Dragon Ball thing to exist and that scene was the moment I was sure they were turning Broly from a mindlessly evil thing into a real lovable character. To this day, I have fallen out with keeping up with the current state of Dragon Ball in regards to new shows or the manga, any new stories they try to do with Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, whatever, but Broly is the only character I give half a shit about anymore. I also own an SH Figuarts figure of him. He's my favorite character.
It's also partly why I'd love to see Ikari and Berserk awokens added to Xenoverse 2.
My favorite scene is when Vegeta in Super told Future Trunks that he shouldn't be happy others are stronger, that he should aim to be the strongest. Vegeta being a father that that Trunks needed.

Recently watched the original "Dragon Ball" series and it was a blast. I absolutely loved all the scenes with General Blue, but to put one on the top spot I will choose... The fight where he beats Krillin and then Goku, just to get scared by a mouse.
God... I know GT wasn't toriyamas work but SS4 was just so mesmerizing and seeing SSG right after that? This hurt me, no, all of us so much that we won't get something from toriyama ever again.

I don't exactly know what my favorite moment in Dragon Ball is. I would have to watch it all again to get it fresh in my mind, but Gohan going Super Saiyan 2 against Cell, Goku going Super Saiyan 3 against Fat Buu, Goku first using Blue Kaioken, the entirety of both of Goku and Vegeta's fights, the battle on dying Namek, Goku mastering Ultra Instinct, the entire final episode of DBS, Goku using the Hakai against Zamasu, Vegeta showing off Ultra Ego for the first time, MUI Goku vs Moro, I could keep going for ages. Mr. Toriyama was a master at his craft. May he rest in peace❤

I have many scenes I could call my favourite. One of them when Goku arrived at the scene to save Krillin and Gohan from Nappa and Vegeta. When Goku and Frieza stood face to face and OC Super Vegeta totally scaring Cell when he was transforming and later on his Final Flash ( Cell didn´t see that big one coming ). Vegito being my favourite Character would mean I´d have to pick a favourite scene but let´s just say I hyped over the whole fight against Buuhan over 9000!!
