I helped build the eagle coaster at Cypress and surprised to see it on here! Glad you enjoyed the awesome scenery, definitely come out on a bluebird day and around the corner pictured, you can see all the way into Washington state!
Nice to see this list, I believe I remember Airtime Thrills making the same one a few years back. I've lived in Oregon my entire life and ridden most of these coasters! Here's my ranking for the PNW: 1. Stunt Pilot 2. Aftershock 3. Coaster (rode in 2017) 4. Tremors 5. Classic Coaster 6. Adrenaline Peak 7. Timber Terror 8. Timberhawk: Ride of Prey 9. Big Timber Log Ride 10. Ice Mountain Bobsled 11. Tumwater Twister (only mountain coaster I've ridden in the PNW, spectacular views) 12. Wild Thing 13. Corkscrew (Silverwood) 14. Klondike Gold Rusher 15. Arctic Blast (I'm including this because it was recently added to rcdb) I was lucky to have ridden Corkscrew at PNE Playland, I would have placed it right around Timber Terror and Timberhawk, probably in between them. It was surprisingly smooth and had good forces but I'm excited to try ThunderVolt someday. I also haven't ridden Wildcat at Washington State Fair as it was closed.
Lets goooo!! Love seeing my home region getting this awesome ranking!! Between (soon-to-be) ThunderVolt, Classic Coaster / Playland Coaster, the 3 average coasters at Wild Waves, the 2 wacky Enchanted Forest rides, the ample amount of great Alpine Coasters, Adrenaline Peak, & the solid line ups at Silverwood & Edmonton Mall, the PNW isnt as lacking as some enthusiasts make it out to be. Although itd be 100x better if Rainier Rush was still around;)
I've only been on 6 Coasters in the Pacific northwest 1 Stunt Pilot 2 Aftershock 3 Tremors 4 Timber Terror 5 Corkscrew 6 Tiny Toot (I last rode this in 2018 though when I went to visit some family in idaho)
You’re right that Timberhawk looks better than it rides. For me it was a non-entity as an experience, and I remember thinking it might be a good coaster if it just moved faster.
Great list! Thundervolt will be a great new addition, unlike anything else in the PNW. Given that Corkscrew made the list, I think Vortex at Calaway would have ebbed it out. It has the same ejector first drop, but it rides a lot smoother than Corkscrew.
Were Runaway Mine Train at Cultus Lake & Wildcat at WaSt Fair close to making your Top 15? I feel like they could have been in the 13-15ish range Also, Tumwater Twister is a great new addition. Its a few hours outside of Seattle but I hope you can get a ride out there soon
This list just made me sad. My most anticipated coaster on this list was definitely Mindbender I was literally headed up there the exact year they closed it to ride it😭
I wanted to go to West Edmonton Mall very badly this winter, but I scrapped those plans when I found out that they were removing Mindbender. What was the reason for that, what did they do with it, and did they replace it with anything yet?
Let’s all organize a very elaborate protest at playland that will be nothing but a bunch of thoosies yelling about why Coaster shouldn’t have seatbelts
@@HugeRMCFanBoY-bx3od wait a minute aren’t you that guy that said Velocicoaster is overrated? Can’t speak from personal experience, I haven’t rode it yet
@CanobieCoaster I just don't get how nobody wanted to buy it for more than scrap. Gene got one of the trains but I'm surprised he didn't buy the whole thing. It would have been a great addition to Niagara park
I haven't ridden the majority of the PNW coasters, but Silverwood is my home park. To me its a matter of preference, but I would say Corkscrew and Timber Terror need to swap places. Corkscrew is 100% a more comfortable ride than Timber Terror. Silverwood badly needs to update the trains on their wooden coasters (Tremors is the better coaster). For me I physically cannot ride Timber Terror anymore because the seats are too narrow and the lap bars don't fully lock down in place, so unless you're smaller your going to find yourself smacking your balls into the T bar and having your tail bone fractured at the same time. I find I have to brace myself because its the only way to avoid this problem. For some reason Tremors doesn't have this issue. I personally view Aftershock to be their best coaster over Stunt Pilot. Both rides are almost equal in my book, but Aftershock has a slight edge for this 1 reason. IF you get lucky and come on a day with short lines (early season), Aftershock is easier to marathon over Stunt Pilot. I was able to marathon both Stunt Pilot and Aftershock on the same day; and after about 4 rides in a 20 minute time period on Stunt Pilot my son (11) and I both said we needed a break. However, we were able to marathon Aftershock after 4 rides in a 30 minute period as well and both wanted to keep going. Aftershock has slower ride turn over times compared to Stunt Pilot so that could have been a slight factor. Plus NO coaster enthusiast talks about this, but on Aftershock the last row (row 16) is by far the best and packs the most punch (even rows are the wing seats).
@@CanobieCoaster True!! I just wish it wasn't almost a 6 hour drive away from me. Wild waves is my home park but I still haven't been because the rides just don't seem too appealing.
There was no placement for Rainier Rush at the Washington State Fair in this video. Did you know it was removed? See in RCDB. Were you indifferent, were you sad, or were you glad of that? That coaster, as seen in RCDB, had an inclined loop.
Another defunct coaster was Mindbender at Galaxyland, as seen in RCDB. It was closed in 2021 and removed in 2023. What do you think about that? Canobie Coaster would say: It's a shame. It was super i _ _ _ _ _ _ . There is a word missing in the answer. It starts with an I. What do you think?
everyone shut up new canobie coaster ranking video just dropped
He should do a video ranking all our wives in bed 🤣
Enjoy!

The pacific northwest doesn't have alot of parks but i heard its beatiful. i would love to go there some time in the future.
It's very pretty.

I do not miss Rainier Rush. That ride was awful.

At least the park you made it to was Silverwood.
I’m assuming you’re omitting the monster coasters at Cultus Lake to give the other PNW coasters a chance?
Oh absolutely.
You’re right that Timberhawk looks better than it rides. For me it was a non-entity as an experience, and I remember thinking it might be a good coaster if it just moved faster.
If only it were a few feet taller.

That's good to know if I ever make it to that park.
In my opinion I personally believe that Stunt Pilot is the best coaster in the Pacific Northwest but I always respect your opinion
Coaster was so wild and memorable for me.
When’s that corkscrew at Silverwood review coming out?
Out now
A ranking of my home region let’s go 🗣️🗣️

I think you should state the ranking of the last coaster of every ranking vid as it’s a really interesting fact to know for us viewers
Like my overall ranking for it compared to all coasters?

I'm not a big fan of Wildcats. They're ok. I have not been to Cultus Lake.

I never heard a reason from the park. I was saddened to see it go.

At least have an ace event where the seatbelts don’t have to be used

I wish it ran without belts, but I get why they were added.
So then splash mountain is technically a roller coaster because of the drop mid way that has a bunny hill before the splash.
I know some count it.
I really can't believe they scrapped mind bender. It could have had another 2 decades on the fair circuit.
It was sad to see it close.

We all need to croud fund to buy some land. Build a 800 ft coaster, and take the record back from falcons flop.
That would be a bold statement in the Pacific Northwest.
@@CanobieCoaster right. Just shove it in some field in the middle of nowhere 🤣
Aint no way timber terror and aftershock are lower than adrenaline peak
Personal preference.
The Klondike roller at Wild waves is not good. In my opinion it’s just one of those painful county fair coasters.
I find it tolerable and fun when it's open.
I’m too tall for mind Ender but I’m still pissed off on its removal.
