Adiyen. The contribution of people like Purandara dasa is undeniable. But this episode is limited to the relationship between Srivaishnava sampradayam and Sangeetham.
The person interviewed, used to play the panchamukha vadyam in Thiruvarur Kamalamba temple. Swami has used the words Bhagavat kainkaryam and emberuman in a broader sense with the following pramanam in mind - 'आकाशात् पतितं तोयं यथा गच्छति सागरम्। सर्वदेवनमस्कार: केशवं प्रति गच्छति।।' which means, salutations done towards all the other deities eventually reach Bhagavan. Swamy.. I very respectfully disagree with you. Emberuman is the only upayam for moksha is an undeniable and undatable truth 🙏 But emberuman is not just archaa , you know that. Emberumanum is also in the form of sound or naadam. As azvar says வேதத்தை வேததின் சுவை பயனை. If a guNa of prithivi can be used for making a archa, definetly a guNa of Akasha can definitely be used as a pratiikam for emberuman. He is in the form of praNava. Udayavar elaborates this in detail in Shri Bhashyam. It is incorrect to say Nadopasam is not a moksha margam. Even as per Shri Vaishnava Sampradayam if Nadam is understood as emperuman, it is definitely a moksha marga and there are Shruti, Smriti, Itihasa PramaNam for this. 🙏

Adiyen 1) "Emberuman is the only upayam for moksha is an undeniable and undatable truth" Answer- If you believe that 'Bhagavan is the only Upayam' why do you go on to say that Nadopasanam is also a moksham margam? 2)"But emberuman is not just archaa, you know that. Emberumanum is also in the form of sound or naadam. As azvar says Answer - Bhagavan takes the archa form but does not take the form of sound because only dravyam can be shareeram, not a gunam (quality). 'यस्य चेतनस्य यद् *द्रव्यम्* .....’ Please go thru the commentary of the quoted pasuram before using that to substantiate your claims. 3) If a guNa of prithivi can be used for making a archa, definetly a guNa of Akasha can definitely be used as a pratiikam for emberuman. Answer - No Guna can ever be Bhagavan's divyamangalavigraha. A part of Panchabhutham can be used to make Bhagavan's divyamangalavigraha. Qualities can never become divyamangalavigraha. Shruthaprakashikacharya says 'गुणक्रियादेरद्रव्यतया शरीरत्वायोगात्'. 4) He is in the form of praNava. Udayavar elaborates this in detail in Shri Bhashyam. Answer - Bhagavan is expounded by the pranava but it cannot be Bhagavan's shareeram. Try going thru Shruthaprakashika of Antaryamyadhikaranam. 5) It is incorrect to say Nadopasanam is not a moksha margam. Even as per Shri Vaishnava Sampradayam if Nadam is understood as emperuman, it is definitely a moksha marga and there are Shruti, Smriti, Itihasa PramaNam for this. Answer - Going by all the arguments made above, it's clear that pranavam or any other Shabdam cannot be Bhagavan's divyamangalavigraha. So, meditating on any shabdam as brahmam is a Prateekopasanam. Prateekopasanam is such an upasanam in which someone meditates on something (which is not brahmam) as brahmam. (Ironically, you have used the word 'pratika' in your comment). In Karyadhikaranam, Ramanujacharya, while commenting on the sutra 'Aprateekaalambanaan nayati...', has clearly mentioned parateekopasanas don't yield moksham.

Adiyen. Yes, we disagree with their position. Poorva Meemamsakas consider Devatas to be shabdasvaroopa. But we Vedantins consider Devatas to be different from shabda. They have bodies, knowledge, ability, etc which enable them to perform various actions. Refer to Devataadhikaranam in Sribhashyam.
