So elegant, so deep, so melodic - just perfection! This guy was just out of this world. He was crazy composer. Only few guitarist can make their scales sound so melodic. I can't say a word to explain how beautiful it is. It takes me to heaven.
Vinnies solos were allot like Randy Rhoads solos with the neoclassical style. But vinnie played like a violin. I love it. Fast, but melodic. Just like Rhoads
1:47 is just so perfect. His vibrato, musicality wow. Vibrato similar to Uli. Of course overkill. But funny enough I don’t see many Vinnie Vincent solo covers on RUclips for a reason hahahaha. I saw him with kiss in 1983, Creatures of the Night tour. His musicianship was very noticeable. Back in the day, a friend of mine shared with me some of his acoustic bluegrass playing and I was shocked he could also play jazz lines etc….anyway. No clue why, but I am listening a lot to him these days. For what I can find. A few great audio videos here on youtube display his musicality before going too shred. Bravo Vinnie.
@@shramiac Wow what a talent. Do you know when this was recorded? I understand ASG was 1988 but this sound older. Asking because I believe I might of heard this around 1984 approx. Thanks for the reply
That last version from the demos was probably the best. I love his half step walk up the neck with the trem trick. There's a KISS demo where he does that same trick. I wish he'd just get something together and put some tunes out there again.
The third one is the album version with the first half cut. Vinnie has a lot of cool melodies and great note selection....most of it gets lost in the frenzied shredding though.
i know it's not the most popular opinion, but I always loved his work.
I want to see a day people share their opinion without saying something defensive
i dont see how people can say vinnie cant play after hearing stuff like this. theres still alot of melody and soul here.

You sound like a fruitcake

“You Know I’m Pretty Shot” is the acoustic piece you would have heard. It was a bonus track on the ASG album.

Yes they are. The second is from his home video guitar lessons. The third is an outtake from the All Systems Go demos
