I lived in Newquay in the late 60's and early 70's. Great place to live. It was young and fit then, Surfing was everything to me. Fortunately I had a small guesthouse and a souveneir shop, and my life was carefree and happy, Those were the days, Sailors Arms was my second home as right next door.
Happy Days!
North Cornwall is awesome!!!!!!!!!
Superb video, great memories. Walked through nearly all these places on the coast path in the closing stages of my end-to-end.
Cornwall is definitely my favourite place in England for walking.
Great images here. It really highlights what North Cornwall has to offer. Amazing scenery, fantastic beaches and lots to do. What this doesnt show is the friendly people though : )
The quality of the footage is great (I can easily spot my house!) but the cuts are too quick. I agree about the music too. If you are going to have music it needs something majestic like 'albotross' as the camera sweeps over one after another of those jaw-droppingly beautiful bays :-)
Since when is Carn Brea been North Cornwall?
Its closest to the North Coast. cornwall goes east to west if you think about it.
And where was Mawgan Porth??
not in the winter thank you, you have awful storms, see you in the summer
