I see that you recommend Biohorizon healing caps as your scan body. We place Straumann implants. Is it okay to use Biohorizon healing caps in our case? Or, does it have to be Straumann healing cap?
Question for you, there has been some discussion in my office about iMetric's coordinate alignment vs stl alignment which you demonstrate in this video. Besides being much faster, it is my assertion that stl alignment allows your design to survive a poor scanbody scan. The implants positions are fixed and you align that, rather than doing individual alignments on each scanbody. Have you also found this to be the case? We've been having issues with passive fit on our arches.
The true implant position comes from the photogrammetry (icam) that is overlayed on the intra oral scan. You will see most scans are very close but you’ll see the biggest discrepancy cross arch
