THANK YOUUUUUU
THANK YOU FOR THE SAMPLE
443 now, man! Keep it up! This needs to turn into a full song as soon as possible, I'll play the crap out of this when it does
Haha I love seeing where all of these are going. Getting some real "Spear Of Justice" Toby Fox vibes from this one
yooo thank you for inspiring me to try this and im glad you enjoyed it!
WHOA HE'S HERE TOO!
hi
Yoooo, the goat here!!🎉
New genre unlocked
The melody structure very specifically gives me "Waterflame music if he used amen break" vibes.
Overall, this is absolutely sick, great job!!
What a Waterflame and DJ Nate collab would sound like in amen break
@@Vbjoctiz64739 yeah, that's actually more accurate ngl
It really does sound like waterflame
@@Vbjoctiz64739 trueeeee
fr
aint no way amen break can be this melodic
edit: 969 likes????. DAMN
If you repeat a sample (amy sample really) fast enough, it turns into a sound with a certain frequency. 83 times per second (83 hz) gives you the low E of a guitar for instance.
thats how we used to make electro basses waaaay back in the day like 2008 when producing was still a enw thing with DAWs, and people werent cracking software as much back then you just get any kick, well any sample really and spead that mf up, sample that, and lock it in key and distort tf out of it, but yea, basses, keys, pads etc all done the same way
Listen to seatrus
that technique could be done with an amiga and a tracker almost 20 years before 2008. And we were producing ITB with DAWs like Logic 4 and Vision DSP in 2001. Cracked ones at that - there were loads of cracks about but you had to be a nerd or know one to find them! Cool technique though for sure.
@@Icythot-m6i waaay back in the day 2008? 🤣 your definition and my definition of way back in the day are quite different. i was expecting you to say late 80s or early 90s when music production was a new thing. in 2008 I was using sylenth,vanguard,z3ta, v-station,nexus or sampled basses from vengeance packs. Although your way is quite a novel way of doing it if you was on a tight budget I guess
I hope this becomes a trend because watching music made entirely with the amen break is gratuitously more entertaining that it should be.
It's like someone starts a community where someone gives you a paint-by-numbers image and you purposefully go out of your way to paint it in your own unique image.
Your amen breaks where amazing, thank you ♥
tysm! this was a completely unorthodox way of making music, i love doing these challenges where you limit yourself because it makes you use the tools you have avaliable to yourself to their fullest potential, really fun to mess around with!
It's been a thing, but more specifically piano roll slicer/slicex fl studio videos.
Sadly I think wavecycle is gonna be the hot fad for a minute, but it's going to be split between simpler abelton people and fl studio slicer vets
@@MrGenophyte happy new year
The most sampled piece of music in our culture is seeing a revival. It’s beautiful. I hope the family of G.C. Coleman realize how special he was.
It's leagues better than most "breakcore" artists that just throw different amen break samples over default FL pads
sounds like electrodynamix from gd very epic
confirmed
Acheron ahh song
0:30 was as far removed from the classic 'amen' sound I've ever heard, yet you did an amazing job of using it. Brilliant work!
Yoo!!!
This goes hard!!
How did you make it GROWL like that??? I made an amen only track myself but that right there is AWESOME! You're making it big, for sure!
yooo yours is much cleaner than mine in my opinion! i honestly dont know how i made it growl, everything in this project is made via experimentation (i played around with note velocity, panning and fine pitch a lot, i didnt automate any outside effects because i wanted to make everything inside of the piano roll) and congratulations on VR seeing yours, you deserve it!
@jaracpalac aw geez, thanks! I hope he sees yours too! He'd love it!
@@kaiiak04 Do a note spam roll on a snare and hat then lowest pitch Snare or Kick (Or both)
The groove is freaking insane
Bro you are insane wtf..... keep it up you are gonna be big as hell
tysm, im trying my best!
@enzodiscoverymoonlight and your comment is what bitter people say lmao
dis gon be a full genre fr
thank virtual riot for that
An electro house track from just amen break? That's crazy, I applaud your effort!
The original Virtual Riot video inspires literally everyone its insane
Good job, that was insane
I mean Breakcore is definitely a thing
@@epicligma_420_69 it is! And i love it
THSI AINT THE AMEN BREAK THIS IS THE HOLY CRASH (compliment btw)
Coming back to this a day later, 0:31 goes insanely hard
bro oh my god 0:31 hit and i went nuts, so good!
I did something like this once for a contest on the imageline forums. The contest was to use slicer/slices with only 7 seconds of samples. Everyone took it to mean each slice could be up to 7 seconds, but I took it to mean the total duration of the file had to be 7 seconds for all slices combined in a single instance of slicer/slicex. so I slapped in a drum break and a few single notes and went HAM. Might have to do it again.
ngl it sounds like a minecraft 3D intro from 2012
but this beat is heavy, I love it !
When the 2-step garage beat came in omg.... It felt so right
Amen only has got to be a genre, mostly because it tickles my monkey brain in a way that I can't explain...
Should send it to him legit, props this sounds dope
this truly is a song where the sound goes like vrrt vrrt vrrt
this truly is one of the songs ever
Sounds really cool, insane work
What is this genre of video, short clips of FL Studio ubergeeks uploading 1 minute songs of them fucking around. Idk why they started showing up in my feed but I like it.
this sounds like intense breakbeat and you know i love it
give it a visualizer and boom, popular 2005-2008 song
We are standing before greatness.
*timestamps from Vr’s Video’s timestamp guy*
0:00: normal amen
0:07 funky original amen
0:31 complextro type amen
0:45 amen scale and pitch bend
ok, that is genuinely one of the best things i heard in my life
Oh my god, so crisp. And the harmonies. Out-fucking-standing
please make this into an actual song this is so good
this is actually amazing. this has been on repeat for a while.
Brother, never stop producing and PLEASE never stop uploading
This is dope thanks for sharing hope you make more dope shit like this. Always sick to see music being made in totally new formats from what we’re used to like you and virtual riot have, offers a refreshing shift of perspective and demonstrates the full capabilities of some of the readily available functions many of us take for granted when coming up with ideas in production. Dope work!
yeah i reccomend you to try this, its a completely different way of making music, figuring out how to get the notes in tune felt like solving a puzzle game to me
the creativity im seeing within this trend of posting DAW recordings stuns me
amen break bout' to become a whole ass genre lmao
another amen braek video amost purely created in the graph editor!!, yall are literally nuts, props !
if your using obs though you should turn up your framerate or whatever, the weird stutter in the video from it moving so fast is almost hard on the eyes, but i really like this trend of videos that follow the DAW, cool stuff
Ty man! My laptop is not that good so this is basically the best i can do, i can't even record with obs because it lags so much
@jaracpalac I feel you so deeply on this, sorry for not realizing everyone has a beast of a machine. I started on FL studio using a laptop made for doing code on, it was slow, crashed all the time and couldn't even handle some of the built in synths even back on FL11. Keep it up, keep sharing and never let your passion fade regardless of your equipment. Lots of love from one artist to another ❤️
God, the shuffling rhythms are so damn delicious. Great job!
toby "don't call me radiation" fox's entire 2011 portfolio be like:
Everyone else: “this is so cool!”
Me: “Waterflame”
my ears are bleeding but it sounds so good.
Didn't know you could stank face to breakcore until I just did
Yeah this definitely holds up
That swing uh
Dudes will see this and think “hell yeah”
JHELLL YEAHH
this really deserves to be extended into a full track tbh
Holy shit! This is the best one I've heard so far. Nice one!
Well done. Love the gradual evolution from drums to music.
that was so freaking cool dude. holy heck
WTF BRO THIS IS SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!
bro what amen is this, ive never heard it before it sounds so hard, love it man 😭🙏
It’s so cool the different styles all these amen break videos have, keep it up!
Very nice work on the panning
0:45 Everything means nothing to me
Making chords and melody from amen breaks is crazy..
Ahahaha amazing mate work mate, this video need to be viral!
This is why i love RUclips algorithm
Please make a full song of this make this a own genre. This is crazy lmao, the fact that you made the amen breaks so melodic sounding is crazy. I gotta try this too.
the project file is in the description so feel free to use it to study how it was made, might be a good way to get you started! glad you enjoyed it :)
I love to find underrated music youtubers it is sooo satisfying... and you might be the most underrated one yet
ty!
this is amazing and this will change music forever
FL Studio is the most advanced DAW by far. glad to see you using it
god damn that is fire.
MORE. I DEMAND MORE.
my ears have been blessed
Boy this is so fucking great, congratulations
Guys will listen to this and just say "hell yeah"
HELL YEAH
i like the swing of this
As i said on virtual riots video, incredibly creative. The amen break makes another subgenre 😭
never heard swing on an amen break lets go
This new genre is now called: BrokenCore
This reminds me of Noisia’s track Gutterpunk from over a decade ago, the swing you have going gives this such a cool groove, fuckin awesome
holyyyy siht bro that was awsomeee
THIS IS SO COOL
Sounds like blast processing in a way
Hell yeah that’s awesome!!
this was fiiiire makes me wanna make one XD
Soooooooo sick! I love the funky swing you added, gives it so much style.
I thought the end was about to speed up into the tekken tag tournament character select music
i would not have the patience to make this
you really break the amen into really nice melodic pieces
This is bonkers, love it
Well done. Also demonstrates the power of fl’s piano roll
I’m saving this to my song list, this is quite an interesting song.
You approach the final boss room, it's circular with a single simple drumset in the middle.
GOD DAYM
this is insane
when the amen break breaks it down
Amen Break edits the gen z music 🗣️🗣️🗣️
OMG you actually made it!
It´s like Blast Processing :)
This is crazy how are you so good at this
honestly i dont think im that good, i just spent a lot of time experimenting with this one
This just sounds like Waterflame. I love it ahahaha.
:D yes that cyber electro sound from early 2005s
this sounds so damn good I’m fucking sobbing
flat heroes sounding ahh
I love this so much, oh my god. Can't wait for more people to make amen sample-hold tunes
a person named "bad narrator" made a similar thing a few hours ago, check it out they did a way better job than me imo!
@@jaracpalac oh shit, thanks for the recommendation!! Will check it out
Wtf man this is absolutely outstanding
This is like God, I love it
virtual riot needs to see this.. nice !
he saw it :D
this is so sick wtf
new genre dropped: Amenstep
this is it's own synth wtf this is awesome
0:31 this sounds so familiar, I just cant tell what it is
