- Battlefield 5 sniping was the BEST ever
One thing i think the majority of people agree on is that BF5 got sniping almsot perfect. Many playes including myself believe its the best in the Battlefield franchise. Going back to BFV in 2023 and sniping once again really is a treat and makes you realise just what we had in 2018.

If you hit your crouch button before you hit the ground you can roll and avoid damage. Amazing feature in this game that not many players know

For me in bf1 the sweet spot mechanic made the choice of the sniper more meaningful and sniping a little more satisfying

Loads of people playing BF V on console as well. Quite fun these days, going back and forth between 2042 and BF V.
I definitely feel that BF5 has the best sniping mechanics in any FPS ever …. The hit box for headshots is slightly larger (I believe )than older and the newest title which makes it feel a lot better along side appropriate feeling bullet drop
Battlefield 1 taught me how to use bolt action sniper Battlefield 5 made me better. Always loved the head shot noise 🫡

I don't know why but BFV looks so much better now since I last played it in 2021! Really enjoyed the game.
I'm not a sniper. But BF 5 just didn't have the BF1 "feel". Hope they get back to that.

I am legitimately curious, how many hackers did you encounter trying to get footage for this video? For me, I always encounter a hacker every 3 rounds. It's annoying, BFV is such a good game, but the hacks are insane.

BFV sniping feels "clean" and "light", I think due to the lack of suppression, even under heavy fire you can aim and get an accurate shot off, it's nice
BFV was awesome. I just don't know how you play it now. Every game I ever join in the last few years has multiple hackers on 100-0. Are there private servers or something?
I play conquest mainly, hackers tend to enjoy breakthrough

I'll take BFBC2 Vietnam sniping over any other BF game.
Probably a hot take but the movement (crouch running) and gunplay of bfv is my favorite of all of them. Playing this then going to 2042 feels like a huge letdown.
The movement in bf5 is very good. I miss the crouch running in bf2042
I think BFV sniping was a good middle ground between BF1 and 2042. I hope the next BF is a historical shooter, so we can use iconic weapons again.

2042 showcases your creative, zany, imaginative playstyle better but i still think BFV is a much better game. and I am honestly, ironically, much more impressed seeing some of these snipes in this arena.

Sniping in BF1 had the sweet spot mechanic making it easier. It was made this way on purpose to bring COD players over, it worked. That's why in BFV they went back to a more skilled sniping. If you want fun then BF1 wins but sadly anyone could snipe. If you want more realism and skill then bfv wins hands down

But was BF2 the best? In saying that, BF3 had feet. I remember looking down and jumping over walls to see the animation because I was amazed. I grew up with Counter Strike and Quake Two and they never had feet.
truthfully I dont think the community realized how good BFV actually was until it was gone. People focused way too much on "politics"
It just sucks there was no multiplayer maps for The battle of Berlin, Stalingrad, Dday, battle of the buldge or a mode where you can play as the RAF/Luftwaffe and fly into dresden and try to kill as many civilians as possible and the people on the ground have to try and survive whoever survives the longest wins. Same with Hamburg, Warsaw, stalingrad, Rotterdam and London during the Blitz

@@eatmybullets5489 Well yea, the community gave them so much backlash that they said "fuck it, were moving on." No one ever gave them a chance to actually add in better maps. I mean we just got the pacific theatre and Iwo Jima when they called it quits. If people werent so harsh on it, I'm sure we would have had a stalingrad or assault on berlin. Personally however I dont want a D day map, it's been so overdone that it's just not interesting anymore.

DICE tried some new things with BFV and the community just lashed out against them for it so they ended support after the biggest update the game had...Pacific theatre. I entirely blame the community for BFV's downfall. It was legit a really good game

Bfv was the best sniping build ever. Bf2042 is trash for sniping. Bullet velocity is bad. And the snipers are just not good enough.

Battlefield V did nothing the best, the sniping experience is superseded by battlefield one, just far more satisfying, and the gunplay is generally very bland with very little to differentiate between different weapons within the same type. The handling, performance and visual recoil all feel too similar.
Terrible maps, visually mediocre, uninteresting gunplay and worst of all, no soul, it doesn’t know what sort of game it’s trying to be, and never did. It only pretends to be a World War II game. It only pretends to be a battlefield game. Battlefield one did everything better as everything worked together almost seamlessly and created a theme that made you feel like you’re playing the game it purports to be. Each gun felt unique and there are a wealth of different GOOD maps for any game style. I could go on and on…
