Premium Subscriber Giveaway.
In addition to our normal giveaways, we will have a Premium Subscriber Giveaway to be drawn in December of every year. There will be one winner for the draw, and the winner can pick what prize they would like (subject to availability). If over 100 people join in I will expand this to 3 winners.
It is a once a year donation to the channel of only $11USD. You can pay anytime from January to December if you want to enter but your entry will only be for the year in which it is paid.
Example, A subscriber pays in November of 2020, they are now in the 2020 draw and are eligible for any of the prizes announced from January 2020 to December 2020. The draw will take place the 1st of January the following year (2021), and the winner/s may choose which prizes they want from 2020.
At present payments over the amount $11USD will not automatically enter you into the next years draw as I am uncertain if I will continue this promotion. Anyone who wishes to donate a little extra to the channel can feel free to do so. Example a $15USD payment would be one entry and a $4 donation. Each subscriber will only be able to purchase 1 entry for the year. This is to keep an even playing field for all subscribers.
Prizes.
Prizes for this draw will be different from the normal monthly giveaway. Only paying subscribers will be entered into the draw and as such the names will not be drawn via comment picker but via a hat. The winners will have the choice of either a completed (built and painted), model or if they prefer, the model kit itself. As an example I intend to build a Klingon Bird of Prey with LED's. From the old AMT kit. If the winner chooses this model they can have either the completed model or the model kit as their prize.
Conditions.
Entry must be no less than $11USD, there is no addition payment required to cover PayPal fees from the original $11USD amount.
Each Subscriber can only enter once per year.
Any payments over the $11 mark will be considered as an entry and a donation.
Subscribers will not be expected to cover any shipping costs.
Subscribers entering into the draw must provide their RUclips user / account name.
Entry can only be made to the year in which the payment is received. It will not include the next year. See Example above.
If more than one winner is selected. The first winner will have the first choice of model. The second winner next, then the third winner. This will only be an issue for built kits of kits of limited availability, I am happy to provide more than one winner with the same unbuilt kit if required.
Refunds will not be available at this time, so please make sure you really want to enter.
Models for this draw will be announced during the year.
Any winners have one month to respond to the draw. I will be sending confirmation emails to the emails used for the PayPal transactions, please add a note to the transfer if you require a different email address to be contacted.
A list of all entries will be added to the descriptions in the giveaway videos. And announcements for the premium Subscriber giveaways will be in the same monthly giveaway video.
Each winner will be eligible for one prize only. And dioramas will not be included in the giveaway at this point in time.

Which bar pressure do you use
with the tamiya paints?
Hi mate. I varies depending on how old or thick the paint might be. I tend to have to thin the older ones a bit more. It also depends on what I want to achieve. For blocking in color I will tend to thin between 30 to 50% and run anywhere between 18 to 25 psi. I will adjust pressure if needed. For really small detailed work my paint will be thinned by at least 50% and my pressure may be as low as 15 psi. However I have two stage airbrush so I can normally control my airflow and to some extent my pressure via the trigger. This is a big help as it can make it easier to adjust paint flow or pressure depending on what I am trying to achieve. I hope that helps a little. 👍 There are so many factors that effect airbrushing I have never found "one method suites all", it is more like a few different methods will suite most.

@@andrewsartscalemodels thanks very much man. The exploding door was totally inspirational. thats something I had thought about but never could imagine practically. Its simplicity really makes me realize Ive gotta stop overthinking things! I also have a few brand new ideas because of that video. the way that you left sections in tact between the bent and falling panels gave the structure a sense of rigidity. You're leagues beyond my ability. I would love to see an aliens "cheyenne dropship" maybe one in scale with that APC. maybe some lighting and smoke, or some excellent photos thrown into the mix.
