Hear me out, you both can only drive anywhere if you're both in the same vehicle together. One of you has to man armaments and one flies/drives... Here's the kicker. No auto tracking weapons. I think this would be a very fun challenge for you two so you can work on your communication to achieve a shared goal.
Battle royal with friends. Who can make the best bomber plane and or helicopter to hit a target. Who can build the best plane to race through the islands. Off-road race on the new map. Who can kill the most balloons in a set amount of time.
for the chopper, it may be better if the tails rotors are constantly activated and you just shut down one of them to turn, could be more responsive if it doesn't work ou can also use the torque generated by the main rotor,, by slowing down the rotor that spin the wa you want to
But then the ramp up is on the button release, so don't know if that is actually any better? I encourage the Devs to make a checkbox for ramp up behavior, it will enable the creative players to make more diverse and awesome stuff.
So the tail rotor in modern helicopters is used to counter the gyroscopic spin of the main rotors. It is running at a speed that balances that force to maintain level flight. One pedal increases the speed while the other decreases it allowing the craft to yaw left and right. This is how it works in real life, but not in the game. If there is a way to have the tail rotors spinning at lets say, 50% power at constant speed, then having button 1 increase the power and button 2 decrease the power and for a failsafe, button 3 can revert it back to 50%. This would have the spool up already activated and give the ability to turn with more realistic controls however we are talking about computer physics here, so..
I think the twitching issue is a combination of strength of the motors and the overlap in angle sensors. I think if you get rid of the overlap and have a small window where neither motor does anything that should get rid of any over correction issues and give it that moment to shed some of the rotational energy. I think if you focus weight on the belly of the beast it'll naturally stay upright and rely on the stabilizer less as well.
For the stabilizers, you might want a small gap in the angle of the sensors, so that you have a small deadspot for them. That get´s rid of the twitchyness ^^
With the auto-stabilization, I always leave around 1,5 degrees on both sides where the sensors are not activated. It will not be precisely upright, but it will not try to correct the vehicle constantly, and it will still be pretty straight. Also, I usually put the sensors on servo with setting to stay in place. This way you can gradually make the heli tilt as you want.
I mean, I think to help fix the overturning you have the rotors always turning to counteract eachother like you have with your big rotors and then just either make a button to increase the power slightly to a mini-rotorand set that to a low max rotation and key bind that to your turning buttons to slowly and consistently turn or you can have the 2 mini-rotors always on to counter act each other and add a third that binds to turning. You may or may not find this helpful as I've never played that game before but I always liked these types of games though as I keep coming back to this channel to watch the builds you've made.
I haven't played the game, and I haven't seen how you'll take out the shielded structures, but am I right in guessing that the dialogue when you got this mission might have told you how to get past the shields? That would be my first guess based on similar methods in other games, and I know a lot of content creators tend to completely ignore the dialogue.
if you put a logic gate with like 0.1 always on, for the tail rotor, soon as you push your assigned key, its instant goes for jet turbines and anything with ramp up time including the heli engines
What happens when you try enter one of those red shield spheres? On foot and in vehicle? Do you just die, or can you enter and/or spawn a vehicle and shoot the building from withing the shield/
Make a 2 person plane where one person has control some guns and the other flys the plane. I put up a how to demo thing on the workshop if you want to see it. "2 person demo" or 2 player craft demo" something like that is its name
Hey kan can i join your rail roads online server i can work for you in the background while you and the other person gets on with the video also i have discord
What kind of coop challenges would you like to see in trailmakers?
turn auto aim off and go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

helicopter or blimp durby, ram into eachother until only one can fly
SPY PARTY!!!!!!

@Mohrrunkel yes, I dont think you can be really reactive with tails rotors, but using the main ones work for sure
This game really needs tougher enemies. The final boss is no challenge at all and once you've finished it once, the flack never respawns.
There can only be one ultimate vehicle bro....
jk

I would love to see you two speed run the campaign!!!
I meneged to get 51 Power cores
Same here
Me too😊
Me three
Meneged?
How
the heli engines also have a ramp up time so keep them set to max so theres less feedback loops but also make your angle sensors not overlap

I’ve built stabilizers like that it gets into a feedback loop
@@dalainawillis507 then the angle gap was too small and the servos too strong.

I love the recent upload schedule but don’t push yourself to hard and forget to enjoy life

I would love to see u guys! Speed run 🏃
Loved this series
Would it be possible to have the tail rotors constantly running and balancing each other out then you just slow one down to turn?
That's a good idea.

Kan trying to dogfight on the "ultimate helicopter" was hilarious. Helicopters don't dogfight Kan.

They probably have a hitbox, but build mode might be able to put a vehicle inside.
Chalange idea: bombing targets at sonic speeds
Honestly wish we could change the durability of blocks to be able to have fights that aren't one shot
Someone speedrun the entire campaign in 47 minutes. TIP - you can skip the chat scenes by holding spacebar.
when you end up doing infinite power cores make certain you use a few hundred at least at the end.
Awesome vid as usual
Kan+kosmo vs scrapman+yzuei?
I already finished that campaign awhile ago
I have used an heli too for the final boss 😂 *I pay the bills in more canonical ways up to now 😉

Yay!
Now it look like a skylift, lol 0:38
I think with the powercores you and Kosmo have found 50/50. You don't have 5 that Kosmo did find
No, it doesn't work like that.
@@gheetza14 Well, that was my guess but I see now it is wrong. What could it be though?
Do you know about that new train game coming out called Railroads?
Nice
legendary
Build an a-10 warthog
Birb
its funny that you only got 45 power cores because i some how got 51
Hi kan
It did not read everything say I was going to know to put on the shield
railroads online is slowely fading away from you isnt it?
hi
Bread
Hi
You need to do just shoot determine not sorry
You obviously need to shoot at them if they sleep don't know how to clear it
eighth
this helicopter sucks bruh
That is what I was thinking lol
First comment let’s gooo
Lol gj
Sorry but no
Wow impressive 😂
Jesus loves you!
