You left out Greenland 🇬🇱 which has two official languages Greenlandic and Danish.
The US does not have an official language. English has become the de facto official language, but the US has never in its laws or on its books stated that English is the official language.
A lot of countries have many languages spoken, but that is different from the country specifying which languages is or are the official ones. All to often that does make it more difficult for minor languages to get support from the state. Likewise appointing a language as an official language can help boost the use of that language within a country.
There are over 6000 spoken languages in the world today, most of them are tribal languages with limited number of speakers. Many are losing out to the more dominant languages in the world such as English, French and Spanish.
When a language is lost it’s more than just a way of speaking. Each language provides its own unique way of viewing and understanding the world. With language comes culture, behavioral patterns and a people’s history and sense of self.
What we need in the world is a universally adopted language for communication. That way people will only have to learn two languages. Their own mother tongue and the universal language. English is currently taking on the role of a lingua franca, but it remains to be seen if that will be the case in the future as well.

Lo que pasa es que el español es el idioma más hablado, pero además sobreviven aún bastantes lenguas indígenas

THE CONTENT CREATOR DOESNOT KNOW THE MEANING OF LANGUAGE AND HENCE OFFICIAL LANGUAGE. HE MIXES BETWEEN LANGUAGE CREOLE AND PIDGIN. THERE IS NO COUNTRY WITH MORE THAN 2 OFFICIAL LANGUAGES. WHAT HE DESCRIBE IN SOME COUNTRIES ARE CREOLES AND PIDGINS SPOKEN BY SOME MONORITY COMMUNITIES IN THAT COUNTRIES.
OFFICIAL LANGUAGE IS A LANGUAGE OF THE STATE AND ITS MACHINERIES WHICH ARE GOVERNMENT LEGISLATURE JUDICIARY AND BUSINESS COMMUNITY NOT FEW VILLAGERS IN THE MIDST OF THE FOREST OR ISOLATED COMMUNITIES. THEREFORE TO MENTION THAT SOME COUNTRIES HAVE 5 OR 10 OR 7 OFFICIAL LANGUAGES IS RIDICULOUS AND PURELY IMPOSSIBLE
