Hi Sir, in slope stability analysis, why the do you used 1.5 safety factor as a required value? Can you give me explanation why do you used it and also of there is code or standard for basis of using it like is it based on the ASTM? Please enlighten me

Hello Axelle, thank you for watching, SF = 1,5 is the standard value of slope safety for permanent design situations however it is user input. So the value you want to use is up to you and you can change it as you need. You can also use verification methodology based on limit states (e.g. EN1997, LRFD). How did you add the two retaining walls to the profile

Hello, yes, the Australian standards are included. We have implemented AS 3600-2018, AS 3700, and local settings for Australia.
