I absolutely love watching both these teams. It's been great to see AD healthy and playing with tenacity and great court awareness. LeBron doing LeBron things, and Luka is just on another level with his court awareness and passing abilities. The talent in the NBA this year just feels surreal. I dont care what team you root for, this is a fun year all around!

As a 90s NBA fan, I loved watching Steve Kerr, Regie Miller and a few other players shooting that decisive 3 to win the game. Nowadays it’s just a 3 pointer shootout. I enjoyed watching Luka, AD and LBJ going for the layups and dunks.

This game was INSANE. It’s amazing to watch LeBron continue to thrive at this level. AD continuing with the great performances is great to see. As an Australian seeing Dante Exum come back to the league and drop this game is excellent. As a Lakers fan I’m not too fussed about this loss but alarmed by how inferior our 3pt shooting is combined with our poor perimeter D and how it would have made the difference between winning and losing so I hope we improve on that. Overall excellent game. Loving every second of this season so far!
Lakers 3p % was 51,7%. This is an insane percentage. The main difference has been the volume, Dallas shoot threes with a worst %, but they shot almost double of them.

However, Luka is stopping after taking a couple of steps and then takes a moment to think about where to pass the ball. I kind of doubt that today's players are more skilled , they just have so much freedom to move with the ball. The rediculous step back 3 is another's example. The only thing I can give to modern players is better on average ability to score from the 3 point. It's something that you Yugoslavians did from early 90's. The best shooters in Europe back then. Most of their centers could shoot the 3 too.
It's Lebron. Every team knows he will have the refs in his pockets. It's good to lock up his other teammates and just let him think he's dominating. Lebron can get his Mickey Mouse rings and his 40 points as a 38 year old and the other teams will still get the W and NBA finals trophy. Only problem with Hardaway is that he'll go 2-19 from three over the next three game and average 5 points off the bench with a couple boards and assists scattered in there. He's way too inconsistant for how talented he actually is, so much potential but will likely remain a 6th man his whole career.

LA looked tired in this one. Expect to see AD and LeBron conveniently get small injuries in the next couple games. You can see how dramatically the Lakers' defense changes when AD isn't going up to contest near the rim and LeBron is just standing still and quarterbacking on D while folks run past him. They're still going to get theirs at one end, but the other team is going to thrash them on the other.

LA looked tired in this one. Expect to see AD and LeBron conveniently get small injuries in the next couple games. You can see how dramatically the Lakers' defense changes when AD isn't going up to contest near the rim and LeBron is just standing still and quarterbacking on D while folks run past him.
