I tell you what William, Sometimes its a god send and others i wish i had a carry reel. its heavy and takes a lot of van space but also when i have these jobs in big gardens its nice to have the wheels. i have had it since day 1 but not tried carry reels yet, cant find one in the UK
Good show. Nice to hear Becky laughing. Are construction codes rigorous in the UK? I watch some drain jetting YT channels from Australia and some of what they call drainage plumbing simply would not pass inspection here in the US. The common names for petroleum products between the UK and the US is sometimes a test of translation ability. What to you guys call diesel fuel? What we in the US call kerosene is called paraffin over there. Paraffin is what we call wax, like candle fuel. Do you guys have any favorite translation oddities? Take care.
Construction Regulations we call them or regs for short. building Regs Part H. Older building come under the regs from the time they were built so old building get away with a lot, however if you make significant changes to an old property, new regs apply. Australia has some odd ways of doing things but i suppose if it work for them 😂 I love the idea of floor wastes. I suppose its odd to hear a liquid being called gas 😂 for us that is. we call Diesel, Diesel. Kerosene is a paraffin. There are many differences in US English and English English but as we have so many US movies, we kind of understand. What i dont get or even if its actually a thing is when US guys scream WHooo really loud 😂 thats a bit odd, well at least for me if its not just the movies 😂
@@Elbows-Deep I worked with some amazing US soldiers over the years. Some of the "loud" ones are not always liked by their colleagues, but still excellent troops. That said, when things get a bit kinetic, they are good guys to have with you.
@@Simonsimon-fy3hq yes I can imagine in the right situation all that energy could be a positive and others not so much, can’t mock it tho, it’s good culture.
Your beeping is for trailer lights, assuming you've got or had a towbar, the towbar socket has probably developed a fault and it thinks you have trailer lights fitted. My L200 does a beep sometimes for no reason, usually when it's raining.🤷♂️
Very strange, never seen any evidence come out of the clay pipe of their being a blockage......Some brown water, no clumps of roots, no clumps of moss off the roof going down the downpipe, I didn't see what you did on the camera, but didn't look like anything that would stop water from running, even beaver damns have trouble stopping water from running.
It was hard even for us to work it out initially, the customer said he was cleaning the flat roof and lost a load of moss down the drain pipe then wash it down with a hose until it started to back up. we just persevered back and forth to try clean it through, i think the brown water must have been the broken up mosses and silts coming through but nothing was seen on the camera as it was raining and the cover on the camera was wet and hart to see through plus we couldnt get it to go into the branch that was blocked. it was a tricky and very blond job. we are going back at the end of the week and may go more in depth into the layout to see whats really happening now we have a flow.
@@Elbows-Deep When you put the hose in the downoipe from the roof, no water came out of the clay end, but when put the camera down you seen no water, you put the lance down the downpipe, sprayed, a bit of brown water came out, then cleared, but it wasn't a big flow of water like you had just unblocked something........It's just very strange.
@@MyCracker1234 yes, this is why we are going back to investigate more, on the camera, we did try to chow it up it was hard to see, there is a break I. The pipe just before the patio starts, not a crack but a hole, I think I might do a follow up to this video for clarity, I think the pipe is dropping water on the way down. It’s not well constructed and very old. You are right tho there is somthing not quite right with it and we will get to the bottom of it, we are booked for Friday for a follow up, just hope it’s not raining again.
@@Elbows-Deep We live in the UK and this is our season for wind and rain......We are very lucky weather wise though, whilst you will be looking at a pipe Friday one of the strongest hurricanes will be hitting Florida. Thoughts are with them.

Hi Pete, Good to hear from you. Absolutely agree, We clean it like once or twice a week but then get a day like this when its raining more then its not and it just gets so mucky so fast. Will try harder tho Pete for sure
Yes agree, sorry about that, it was an all over the place one this one, did our best considering the circumstances and the weather. Thanks for trying tho, all the best 😊

I see you are the first person to have wheels on your hose reel cart. I told several RUclips channels to try this. Bravo!😀

No gloves 😩
Not too worried on rain water systems
Do you have a towbar ? if so that'll be the towbar plug socket thats got a short (im a retired auto electrition )
Someone else also said this, im going to check it when i remember 😂Thank you so much for the advice.
