Ron Wyatt uncovered the mystery of the exodus many years ago. He even published photos of the 4, 6, and 8 spoked chariot wheels that were in use during that particular dynasty. They were preserved by the coral on the sea floor.

When I examined his claims objectively, I could see most of his claims were false with no verifiable objective evidence.

Actually he may be a pretty good impostor because he is able to deceive so many people.
Is it that Wyatt is just so good at deceiving people or that the people he deceives are so gullible and naive (or, of course, both). DZ

Some good reliable source material that can help you understand these issues can be found in the articles and videos of "Associates For Biblical Research" (ABR). ABR is an association of professional, credentialed, Christian archaeologists, who have been conducting some very significant excavations in the Levant for many years now. They are currently operating the largest excavation project in Israel, at Tell Shiloh (Biblical Shiloh). It appears that they have found the location of the tabernacle at Shiloh, during the period of the Judges and the early monarchy of Israel. They also found the location of ancient Ai, that Joshua conquered, and are currently researching the defixio (curse tablet) found at the ancient altar on Mt. Ebal (see Joshua 8)

    (03 September 2024)
Not mentioned here is that a Jewish scholar named Flavius Josephus (ca. 70 AD) wrote a _History of the Jews,_ in part, paraphrasing parts of the Old Testament, including the Exodus.
He understood the Exodus began at a Roman fortress called Babylon in his day (70 AD). Babylon still exists today (2024) in Cairo, as a museum.
Josephus has Israel leaving Babylon on the Nile, for the Red Sea, which is reached in only three days of travel.
At the Red Sea, Israel finds herself hemmed in by high mountains.
Egyptian chariots have control of the high mountain passes preventing escape.
The only way to escape is via the Red Sea, according to Josephus.
Quite clearly, Josephus understood it was only 3 days from Babylon on the Nile to the Red Sea, which is today's Gulf of Suez (called the Heroo-politan Sea in Josephus' day).
The Bible tells us a plague of locusts engulfs ALL OF EGYPT.
The Bible tells us ALL OF EGYPT is from a fort called Migdol in the north to Syene in the south (modern Aswan in Arabic).
What body of water is LARGE ENOUGH to embrace ALL OF EGYPT, from Migdol to Syene and drown the huge plague of locusts?
Only one body of water, today's Gulf of Suez!
So, Flavius Josephus DID NOT ENVISION THE GULF OF AQABA TO BE THE crossing point of RED SEA!
NOR DID HE ENVISION the shallow MARSHY LAKES EAST OF RAMESSES (modern Qantir) TO BE THE RED SEA CROSSING POINT.
Christian pilgrims (4th century AD) were told by their Christian guides that the crossing point was at the shoals of Clysma, a Roman fort, where today, is the modern port of Suez.
The Christian Pilgrims were shown "THE TRACKS of Pharaoh's chariot wheels" in these shoals AT LOW TIDE!
So, early Christian Pilgrims of the 4th century AD understood the Red Sea crossing was at the Gulf of Suez, NOT THE GULF OF AQABA.

I have a weird question on the map the middle landmass l it says Sinai wich I'm assuming that it's called that because of MT.Sinai but you'r saying that it's possible that the water crossing is after? If it is called that because of the mountain than how can they be near the end of that land mass because the red sea was before they got to MT.Sinai of course I'm not the best at geography so that's why I'm asking is that called Sinai because of the mountain

    • @InGrace
      @InGrace  11 месяцев назад +1

Great question! Tradition states that Mount Sinai is located in the Sinai Peninsula near Saint Catherine's Monastery. Over the next 3 episodes of "Exodus Found", we take a purely biblical approach and present evidence that Mount Sinai is more likely to be in modern day Saudi Arabia, near ancient Midian. A great resource to understand this journey is our Exodus Map.

      Dear @ConstructonFlagger, Hello !
You ask a good and relevant question ! It deserves a good scholarly response.
      Mt. Sinai location Criteria.
Mt. Sinai is located in the Wilderness of Sinai, which is located on the Sinai Peninsula.
However, the traditionally known site for Mt. Sinai is Jebel Musa (the Mountain near Saint Catherine's Monastery, in southern Sinai). Note: this site is not ancient Jewish tradition, but instead a tradition that was created a few hundred years after Jesus.
However, that mountain does not fit the ancient Jewish description of Mt. Sinai.
Ancient Jewish writings describe Mt. Sinai as being lower in elevation than Mt. Carmel (1,724 ft) and Mt. Tabor (1,886 ft). Jebel Musa is 7,497 ft. tall; - far to tall to fit the criteria of Jewish tradition.
Jebel Musa does not fit some of the Biblical criteria either. For example: Jebel Musa is not within 11 days travel to Kadesh Barnea (Deu. 1:2), and Jebel Must is too far away from Midian. The authentic Mt. Sinai must be close to Midian, but it seems that it should not be actually in Midian, or at least not in the land of Jethro.
The six Mountains located in Saudi Arabia that are proposed to be Mt Sinai, also do not fit these criteria. Two of the most popular proposed locations are Jabal al-Lawz (elevation - 8,465 ft.) and Jebel Maqlā (elevation - 7,631 ft.). As you can see both are far too tall to meet the criteria of the Ancient Jewish traditions. Both are also much farther than 11 days journey to Kadesh Barnea. They are both located in an area that is considered to be ancient Midian, so on this criteria they are marginal.
Where did the Hebrews cross the "Red Sea".
One huge consideration is that when the Hebrews crossed the "Red Sea", according to the Scriptures, they then entered the Northern portion of the Sinai Peninsula. They could not have entered Saudi Arabia after crossing the "Red Sea", according to the Scriptures. Many supporters of the Gulf of Aqaba hypothesis seem to be completely unaware of what the Scriptures say about this issue.
Follow this line of reasoning: Exodus 15:22 clearly tells us that when the Hebrews crossed the "Red Sea", they then entered into the "Wilderness of Shur". We know where this area is located because the Scriptures describe its location. According to the Scriptures it is located between Egypt and the Negev, in the northern portion of the Sinai Peninsula, south of the coastal region of the Mediterranean Sea. This location is supported by the Scriptures and has a very long provenance and tradition confirming the location. There is no evidence for any other locations of a Shur, or Wilderness of Shur, anywhere else. I am researching this issue and writing a paper on the location of the Wilderness of Shur/Shur. I am very confident that the identification of this location is soundly supported by the Scriptures, provenance and tradition.
This means it is impossible for the Hebrews to have been anywhere in Saudi Arabia after crossing the "Red Sea" (according to the Scriptures), so the "Gulf of Aqaba hypothesis" is eliminated by the Scriptures as a viable crossing location for the Hebrews.
The only viable crossing points (of the "Red Sea") are somewhere along the ancient lakes, which where along the ancient Isthmus of Suez, ... or ... somewhere along the northern portion of the north western branch of the "Red Sea" which is presently known as the Gulf of Suez (Note: the Gulf of Aqaba is the north eastern branch of the Red Sea, both are branches of the "Red Sea"). These areas are the only bodies of water that could be crossed and then have the Hebrews enter the Wilderness of Shur, which the Scriptures locate on the northern part of the Sinai Peninsula.
If you look at a map of the Sinai Peninsula, it is clear that if you cross the Gulf of Aqaba into Saudi Arabia you cannot then enter into the Wilderness of Shur which is located between Egypt and the Negev. Impossible !
Some good reliable source material that can help you understand these issues can be found in the articles and videos of "Associates For Biblical Research" (ABR). ABR is an association of professional, credentialed, Christian archaeologists, who have been conducting some very significant excavations in the Levant for many years now. Ron Wyatt made many false claims that have been disproven. It is apparent that you have not looked at the evidence from both sides of the issue of Wyatt. Doesn't a fair, intellectually honest Judge objectively consider both sides of the case, giving equal consideration to both sides before making a judgement ? If you have not looked at both sided then you cannot really make a trustworthy decision. DZ

As I'm sure you know, just a few verses later, is:
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Many of us use "believe" and "trust" pretty much interchangeably - I believe that Christ has the authority He claimed, to forgive my sins as He promised to do. I trust that He has me safe in His hand, as He said He would, and no created being can pluck me from that safe place. :) I am, indeed, reborn, a child of God. God bless you!

@@jeannine1739 ...I hope you are. I only know that we must be born again of God. We must receive the Spirit of Sonship that makes us cry out: "Father!" (Galatians 4:6) And most of those that say they are Christians have not had that experience. Even most of those that say they have had it. Sadly.
