I love this format. Wish they did this when I was growing up. Imagine Earl Anthony, Dick Weber, John Petraglia, Mark Roth, Marshall Holman, Jim Stefanich, Dick Ritger, Guppy Troup. (Yes, Kyle's Dad. Pick your own 8 from your favorite era. These were my heroes back in the Day!

Thanks so much bosoares. Could someone answer me this. After Group 1 finishes their fourth game, Group 2 then starts on the short oil pattern. Does the machine strip the lanes of the oil that's there & then apply the oil for the next two games? I hope that's not a stupid question but I haven't bowled in almost 30 years & just started watching it again thanks to bosoares. I didn't know of any of the bowlers of the this era. Love watching. Thanks in advance for the answer.

You’re welcome. And yes, the lanes are re-oiled between groups to make it fair and similar play.

That's usually how it works out when they're bowling on the more difficult patterns.

Okay weird question but when Butturf was asking for the ball return, he kept asking for it, like 6 times in a row after he had already clarified it with the crew on the lanes… what was that about lol
