    We all enjoy Crispy Honey Chilli Potatoes at a restaurant, but we are unable to make similar honey chilli potatoes at home which are as crispy.
    I am sharing here all the tips and tricks to get the crispiest honey chilli potatoes at home too. The restaurants have a secret tip! They refry the potato fries before tossing them in the sauce. The refrying of the potatoes is the secret to the crispiest Honey Chilli Potatoes ever!

    Recipe :
    Honey Chili Potatoes
    Preparation Time: 30 minutes
    Cooking Time: 20 minutes
    Serves: 3-4
    Method:
    4 medium potatoes
    1 cup corn flour
    ¼ cup flour
    ¼ cup sliced red bell peppers
    ¼ cup sliced yellow bell peppers
    ¼ cup sliced capsicum
    ¼ cup sliced onions
    1 tbsp chopped garlic
    2 tbsp chopped spring onion
    1 tsp sesame seeds
    1 tsp soya sauce
    2 tbsp tomato ketchup
    1 tbsp vinegar
    1 tsp black pepper powder
    Salt to taste
    1 tsp finely chopped green chilies
    1 tbsp red chili paste
    2 tbsp honey salt to taste
    Oil to fry
    Method:
    Peel and cut the potatoes into 1” thick fingers.
    Wash and soak in water for 5 minutes. Meanwhile bring a large pot of water to boil.
    Cook the potatoes in boiling water for 3-4 minutes till partly cooked. Remove from water and drain.
    Mix together the flour and corn flour.
    Dust the potatoes with quarter of the flours. Toss well. Sprinkle a little water and toss again, adding more flour if required. Remove the excess flour by sifting it.
    Fry the potatoes in hot oil till crisp but not golden.
    Remove from oil and allow to cool for some time. Meanwhile heat the oil till very hot. Refry the potato fingers till golden and crisp. Remove and set aside.
    Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large pan. add chopped garlic and stir till golden. Add the sliced onions, bell peppers and toss. Add all the sauces and mix well.
    Dissolve 1 tsp corn flour in ¼ cup water and add the slurry to the pan.
    Mix well and add the fried potatoes. Toss well.
    Remove from heat. Add honey and mix well.
    Garnish with chopped spring onions and sesame seeds and serve.
