Nice to see you shooting in Sunday Armin. 🏹😉👍Definitely I will go with the Zhu Ran is very beautiful and for the price you are receiving an elegant bow and it generates good performance. AF archery has improved a lot in quality control management. Enjoy the Sunday 👍
Perfect timing on this video. I was stressing out about going back to work on my Monday. And master Armin video reminds me that there is an alternative, I can always quit my job and live modestly. Someday I will save enough money so I can shoot all my bows all day long while my money goes to work for me :))
Hello Armin, I am a chinese archery fan who subsrcibed you for a few years, so happy that you show us these nice bows and shots including those from my country and other regions of the world! Your videos and channel are absolutly being better and bringing me and my friends more happiness, wish you have a nice life and bring us (all the archery guys and gals around the world) more amazing contents!
Thank you
Armin I purchased the Zhu Ran 2 after watching your review. It just arrived this week. That bow is probably the nicest shooting bow I have. It also looks and shoots incredible. Makes me look better than I am😉
Haha nice
I heard 8 center shots in a row there at the beginning.😳👏💪Sampson had his hair, you have your beard. 😁
Enjoyable Sunday review. Thank you.
3 very nice bows but I think I would choose the Zhu Ran it’s a really great looking and shooting bow thank you sir for another great review
Man this comparison needed to happen
I have the non take down Tang Chang An. Can't recommend it enough. It is definitely tough to string until you get the hang of it. But it's an epic bow to shoot! The draw is incredible, the sound amazing and it's very accurate, powerful and looks spectacular. I would spend my money on one of Alibow's "Luxury Wood" finishes over the takedown mechanism. Shoots great with Sarmat Bamboo Manchu arrows.
Thank you for the nice detailed comparison 🙏. You're thoughts on these bows are greatly appreciated!
The asymmetrical design, smooth draw and awesome power make the Tang Chang An my personal favourite 😁
The weight on the tip does have benefits. More weight in the ears means more string stretching at the end of the snap as the tips have moving mass that will travel past its normal braced position. It is a trade-off that gives you less initial speed, but more push for heavier arrows.
This is why Manchu's can shoot 20gpp arrows without issue lol
And nooow... Finally! The number you've all been waiting for! 🥁🥁🥁 🎩
Did anyone else jump out their skin when Armin hissed at that cat? 0_o
I let my eleven-year-old neighbour try my bow a little while ago, and now he has pestered his father to buy him a "soft" archery set to use in his own garden... And my friend's son is getting a full recurve starter kit for his 10th birthday this month... So great to see youngsters taking an interest! So, I learn new things from Armin, then I teach to the munchkins, thus wisdom is shared :D
Thank you for a Sunday shoot and a necessary comparison review. Now go have some fun.
Cheers
Who the heck thumbs down this video like what heck trad archery community?? Sir great video, more people need to watch these videos because even tho I cannot afford either of these bows there’s still a lot your teaching (for when I can get both)
thank you, I think it is something personal. I guess these guys have something against me. Its ok :)
@@ArminHirmer that’s a horrible way to be.
Lovely to see this educative comparison thank you Master
I still would choose the Zhu Ran (Gen 2), if AF would ship to Germany... strangly it didn‘t work mid of June... But I would also be happy about the Hou Yi and the Tang Chan An 😁👍
Thank you for the nice comparison, Armin! 🙏
Get well with your shoulder! 🍀
thanks. its a permanent damage and on some days its more there :)
@@ArminHirmer Oh dear! That’s a pity... 😳
Love these longer ones! btw-is your left shoulder bothering you?
Yes it does :)
Two question I have for you today :)
- Does pulling in your stomach instead of a tight core help when shooting in traditional archery ?
- Can you do a video on how to make targets, both suspended and fixed ?
Thank you for all of your content!
A tight core is surely enough as long as you know how to do it (like every martial artist will know) I still prefer the more dynamic way of condensing the body to the ming men, feels more natural. Targets might be tricky as I dont own the range anymore and I myself have not a lot of material to work with
I bought a Snake and am practicing thumb draw. These bow reviews will be helpful when I've become proficient and am ready to graduate to a grownup bow 😎
AF Archery bow seemed best over all. Very nice bow
Yeah I'm starting to notice a pattern, seems like AF usually has the best performers?
I agree
I'm week 😭,Zhu Ran is ordered, went with a 35# in the end hopefully an all-day bow. Your reviews have always been spot on 🙏 we have similar taste, unfortunately not similar talent 😂
Thanks John. Taste is more important and cannot be trained, talent can ;)
thank you
I want all!
I gotta give away my Hill style bows and buy me a longdraw bow ! Yup that's it I'm all done with Hill style bows 🤣🤣 throw Peter way off lol 😆
Great video ! ☕
Hahahahaha
And you're legend of the legends...😸😸😸
Thank you for doing this comparison. do you have any method/tips for increasing your draw length?
Thank you. I am planning of doing a video about longer draw
Interesting video.
Hallo so ein Bogen fehlt mir auch 🤩👏sieht schön aus
22:28 No, I do not know what you mean. Could you please explain that? Thanks!
when it feels just right 18:49
0:50 - cat appears in the background and I can't focus on anything Armin says =P
Long draw traditional bows FTW...
Oh man! I just bought the bow from Vegh last Friday and didn´t know about the 5%!
sorry man, still fully worth the money hehe have fun
@@ArminHirmer thanks Armin! I just followed your recommendations :D
I thought it was 10% off?
Very informative video, thank you 🙂 I do have a question tho. The Sarmat Hankyuus would've been a worthy inclusion in the category (and I'm not just saying this cause I have one 😅), was it excluded for some reason or you just didn't had one on hand?
the hankyus play in their own league, like the long draw manchu bows. thats why I excluded them
@@ArminHirmer Ah okay, I didn't consider that, but yeah that makes a lot of sense.
Would they be more forgiving? Especially when cold an shooting with jacket amd gloves?
I used to live in Michigan. It would if you shorten your draw length. Just be content with drawing up to the corner of your mouth during winter
@@LifeisGood-ye8rl always had issues with consistency with shorter horse bows
Hi.
Waiting for Xongkoro review ...
the bow was shipped same day as the takedown tang Chang An, but went back to Alibow. is resent now, lets hope it will arrive soon
I like the zu ran but i would like to have it in a higher poundage. Im 193cm tall so my manchu draw is 37" and regular 32".
Have many different bows not but would be nice to have at least one with more power.
Do you have any recomnedations in a heavy manchu bow with more then 36" max draw?
you can ask Magen from Fairbow Netherlands. He is building heavy bows
Kudo to the grass cuter or the ranch!...👍🙌🏼👌
yeah the heat :)
🙄🙏
Can you shoot a manchu bow with khatra?
Of course however some think u shouldn't and some think u should so...
yes, but it does not make much sense
580/570gr arrow for a 45 pound Tang Chang An its thats ok do you think?
yes
where can i buy that glove

Sehr geehrter Herr Hirmer,
könnten Sie mir bitte eine Bezugsquelle Ihres, in diesem Video genutzten, Handschuhes nennen?
Vielen Dank vorab.

Hallo der Handschuh von Freddie Archery
@@ArminHirmer vielen Dank 😃
just curious. do you speak chinese?
no, just a few words
speaking of chines bows, I saw once an archer who did a full draw then he twisted the string then released his arrow and the arrow took a curve.
is this real??
or it is Hollywood style hoax
it was in a korean movie "war of arrows" at least for me it does not work. But there are methods to shoot an arrow curved
👍🇮🇪
