27:30 - the girl with horns is Aloe, she was part of Holo Gen5, she was run off the internet by Nijii trolls who doxxed her and attacked her visciously in social media, causing her to resign less then a week after debut, all because she accidently started a stream on her old account (a few days before debut) testing out the setup in anticipation for her debut (she didn't mean to go live). Hololive sorta bungled the situation by giving her a temporary suspension before they realized it was a coordinated Nijiisister attack, and by the time they realized what we going on she had already quit. the doxxing got pretty bad with the Nijiisister hunting down her personal address and phone numbers and contacting people in her life to harras her, causing her basically to resign out of fear of her life.
The joke is the prior poster was complaining about nijii losing all the time and it was boring. so that poster was memeing that in the spirit of Aloe who was "taken from us" to never let up and crush nijii to the ground
Thankfully things are getting better for her, currently streaming as Delutaya

Holy shit, I was completely unaware of the Nijisanji fan involvement, I only knew about the suspension into graduation part. I'd been told it was because she said something off-colour about a hololive staff member in one of her first streams
@@ecyor0 no, that sounds like the story of Hitomi Chris, who was in gen0 of hololive. she streamed like once and retired. basically she was sleeping with a "fan" or "stalker" or something, who paid for her streaming setup, once she got the streaming setup from him she didn't want to sleep with him anymore, so he actually sued her to get the setup back. it got sorta ugly. with doxxing and prostitution and all sorta of nonsense happening. Hololive cut ties with her, and there was some controversy over whether they should have protected her more or not.
Aloe was ambushed by rabbit nijiisister hate bandwagon that ran her off the internet.
Yeah it’s so wild to think that Millie could have very easily costed and had a great career in Holo. She was one of the first big English indie vtubers before holoEN was a thing. Back when she was Lyrica we used to joke that she was the secret 4th Member of HoloID because of how often she would collab with them. Though instead she elected to join Niji with her irl friends, creating a weird mean girl clique and is now considered a toxic pariah of the industry, and her former friends won’t even publicly acknowledge her anymore.

Given what Calli said recently about Cover's hiring practices for Holo I don't think she would have gotten in. It's pretty clear the 'vibe check' approach has a been a thing for A WHILE. It's even odds they would have caught on and rejected her.

To be fair, Hololive have tons of tech issues, and if not for Ame, EN would've been a disaster especially at the start (she practically trained one of the managers to help them out). But the girls aren't two-faced bullies like some Niji talents, so instead of insulting them for it, they look more relatable and adorable instead.

And live Concert tickets sales being a bust aside, Online Tickets sales are 30,0000 on average so Nijisanji isnt going broke
Let's be real the only reason 30k online tickets is not a massive issue for them is that they are as overpriced, if not more, as the live tickets. Also it's not just about the money - the reputation hit of failing to sell anything close to an appreciable portion of the available live tickets to the point you had to cancel the event is pretty damn bad.

The niji stock didn't naturally get better but niji bought back a large amount of shares trying to stabilize their stock but that didn't do much for them.

Screenshots are still pictures, they don't want to you to share the WHOLE experience, as seeing them dance and have the audio. It's actually fairly common to allow screenshots but not recording and it makes total sense. It's good for publicity and don't leak the whole reason to be there. On a weird analogy, it would be like a trailer, where you have an idea of what it is, while still getting the full experience when/if you decide to get in on it.
You should look into Phase Connect talents. They're great funny silly women(who may or may not fit in a mental asylum) :D
