You're in luck! I have another set on the channel from earlier that year if you haven't seen it yet, and I have one more still to edit and upload from March of 2003.
Saw them in LA, didn't even know they were playing so it was quite a surprise. Vocals jumps and landed right on me, almost breaking my colure bone. The very next week, my friends saw them up north and they wrote an apology and "non-liability" note for me with all their autographs lol. Ah, it was awesome! :)
Brett Dinovo is an immensely underrated drummer. Saw him play at Krazy Fest 2003 when the guys from Reggie and the Full Effect started stealing pieces of his kit as he was playing. All he had left were his hi-hats, bass drum and snare and never missed a beat.
Thanks for posting this! I thought this show only lived in my memory. It’s such an incredible gift to find tapes of a show I was at 19 years ago in my high school days.
Saw these guys and Auditory Aphasia at the Showcase Theatre in Corona and Glasshouse in Pomona, rolled a joint or two with them. Best times of my life :D
This is some great ass footage!! Glad it was caught 😭 I would’ve been about 5 years old when this was recorded, but this was the first post-hardcore band I found out about in 5th grade
i was lead singer for a band nobody wins we played a few shows with finch back then and i believe we opened the seattle show on this tour with a static lullaby in tacoma.
I saw them a month or so prior, in 2003, with Brand New. I met Phil from ASL and Jesse from Brand New, at the Social, in Orlando,FL. Man this brings back memories and they sound so on point!
I have this one already on the channel if you haven't seen it yet: ruclips.net/video/nVnTriLQsB4/видео.html AND I have one more multi-angle show from their tour supporting The Movielife about a month after this one. It might be a while before I get to it, but I can reply here when it's up.
I'm glad to have seen them before they gone but only complaint was they had the screamer mic wayy to high and it was blowing out everyone else. Other wise it was amazing
Maaaaan they were so good with this lineup - I enjoyed their later stuff, but it really stung when Phil wasn’t with em anymore
With Finch 🥺✨ ugh, I miss this era of my youth
I would love see this ASL era, see them playing this awesome album. I do love this first album.

They were absolutely one of the best bands of this era, I feel so blessed to have seen them so many times growing up in CO

I forgot how good they were live. I’ve seen them about 15 times back in the day.
