Glad Oparanozie is back in the team, we have sorely missed her upfront. Her positioning, hold up play and shooting are good. Asisat Oshoala would be great playing as a 10 or 8, while Desire is upfront working opposition defenders with her movement.
Congratulations to our Super Falcons, they made us so proud. This team has been through a lot but I am glad they are resilient Great win for the team. This game is a good moral boost for our ladies ahead of the women's world cup 🇳🇬
Me too... So happy to see her back. She has always been one of my favourites. She has that striker instincts, she sabi where post dey and lots of experience.
Im so happy that the process is paying off.... What waldrum has achieved is a good blend of youth and experience.... Echegini is a sweet player, fast, quick thinking, defensively resolute, good passes and an eye for goals, no wonder she benches Okobi (still a needed star in the squad though).... Her combination with Tony Paine is marvelous in the middle. Oshoala did a very good job today. Those asking Ebi to leave should just apologize. That header had experience written all over it. We ll need that going forward. I cant be more happy for Tosin Demehin and Rofiat Imuran.....from the U20s and doing so well. Whoever took Nnadozie to the World Cup at 17 years did Nigeria good.... She is now so bold and composed and still young. Well done NFF, Well done Coach and Staff.... Well done falcons
Good! Good!! Pleased to see the third scorers ! Oparanozie has this as a wane of a warrior to score she is!!! Falcons! Note! Canada! Australia and Ireland are opposition that need more work to wreck if you want to win and qualify for the round of 16! Best wishes!
I haven't watched the falcons in a long while but cos of the upcoming world cup and the victory against Haiti I had to watch this match. Here are my observations: 1 - Nnadozie - Solid performance. Was never found wanting. Safe hands 2 - Michelle Alozie -Woman of the match performance. Still underutilised as a RB as She's traditionally a RW. This was evident whenver she dashed forward. 3 - Rofiat Imuran - Cool, Calm and collected. She made life hell for the opponent RW 4 - Halimatu Ayinde - Classic Halimatu performance. understood her role 5 - Onome Ebi - At 39 she is doing well. Will be suspect if we meet a team with fast attackers. She makes up for speed with experience 6 - Blessing Demehin - If you though her performance at the u20 world cup was a masterclass then you ain't seen nothing yet. She played as if she has been in the super falcons teams for 10 years. 7 - Rasheedat Ajibade- Fast and always pressing the opponent. Her importance to the team cannot be underestimated 8 - Toni Payne - Overall good perfrmance but she lost the ball too many times. She held on to the ball needlessly. I still feel she should play as a winger as her pace will be an advantage 9 - Asisat Oshoala - Agba baller no doubt but needs a very good midfield to bring out her Barcelona form. From inception Asisat has relied on speed and power to perform well in the super falcons. These two qualities diminish with age so she will need a very efficient 8 and 10 combo to bring the best out off her. As for the wings, Michelle Alozie and Rasheedat will always put in the crosses. 10 - Jennifer Echegini - A young baller. She's one for the future. She is very good. Plays like Michael Olise of Crystal Palace 11 - Esther Okoronkwo - Another impressive young player.. Substitutes: Oparanozie - Injected a sense of urgemcy in the attack and got a goal Monday Gift - As usual, pacy and a bust of energy. Ngozi Okobi - Came in Late Coach Randy Waldrum - I'm still of the opinion that He isn't a good coach. How can you start the same players in two friendlies in a space of three days. Made his first substitution in the 50th minute, the second came in the 75th minute when Asisat (a player fasting) got injured due to fatique, the third came in the 82nd minute. How can you play the same starting line up and didn't ring in changes at the start of the second half when you had the luxury of Ogbonna, Plumptre, Abiodun, Otu, Ucheibe and Kanu on the bench.
@@ebubechiibegbula5968 He's just a PE teacher. Florence Onagbemi falcons was far better. Luckily the super falcons has a massive injection of young exposed players. Tactically the coach is technically inept
@@ebubechiibegbula5968 they won't.. The money some NFF chiefs make from foreign coaches salary won't allow them do the right thing. Both Pesseiro and Waldrum are just getting salary for doing nothing

Well done job to all players .... Above all my Nigeria team should play team game and assist each other.... If they still want to be leading beyond this level. God bless!
wonderful performance from the goalkeeper, even better performance from the right winger, but terrible finishing from the number 9. Generally a good performance 💪🏾🔥
One thing Oparanozie knows how to do is exactly what she did to score that goal.. Strength Hold up play. Decent pace. Good positioning Good head Good shooting ability.. Resilient.. Just pair her with Oshaola/ Onumonu.. Although Oshala played well today, her injuries may have a detrimental effect on her performance for the SF, however, I am not too concerned since Onumonu will be a suitable replacement
@@Humphrey1989 why rejecting Ifeoma Onumonu? She is a good team player who knows how to create goals. Go back and watch our WAFCON goals.
